Put on a Chic face

We all know I like Grace Elizabeth and that I loved her work with Steven Meisel, because it really showed me a versatility I thought she was capable of. However, I think that this editorial might be my favourite fashion thing she's ever done. The whole story screams Bruce Weber, doesn't it? And I reckon his style and Grace's beauty blend beautifuly. All the photos feel very special and that's why I stared at them for almost a minute when I first saw them. Great job! Ph. Annie Leibovitz When I first found out about Jennifer being the cover star for this September issue, I wasn't very excited about the whole thing. And when I saw the Annie cover, I was like: Bye! Not interested! Then I saw the other three and, I must admit I kind of love I&V's. Her expression is not the best, but she's an actress, not a model. My biggest complaint is the cover girl choice. If they knew they were going to produce 4 covers, why not picking 4 different women? (Or, God forbid, men?) It is an anniversary issue...go big or go home. Still better than expected... Ph. Versace Fall/Winter 16.17: Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid & Dilone by Bruce Weber As usual, I start by talking to you about Versace. They usually are the first ones to release their ads, so that's why. For this ad, they hired two models who have experience working with the brand, like Karlie and Gigi. And...well, Dilone is in one of the pictures too. I guess that kind of counts.  Some of Karlie's pictures are great (the one where all the male models are holding the bags is EPIC). Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2015: Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, George Barnett & George Le Page by Mario Testino This is decent. Still not great, but decent.
