Meet Faith Lynch: New Face from the USA

Imagen
Faith Lynch (IMG Worldwide)                            It has been a while since the last time I did one of my "Meet this new face" posts, which are some of my favourites. It's always interesting to see whether those models end up being successful or not. I can notice the potential but, in such a harsh industry, longevity is hard to achieve.  The model that I have noticed recently is called Faith Lynch, and she is American. So far her career has been quite stellar, with editorials for W Magazine or Vogue Ukraine and a worldwide exclusive for Miu Miu, which resulted in being part of the Spring/Summer 18 campaign.  I'll show you some of the things I mentioned, plus some test shots that show how incredibly beautiful she is. Also, she is quite good at expressing feelings through her eyes already, and she just started modeling. She can be both HF and commercial, as you'll see just by looking a...

Spring/Summer 2018 campaigns: Valentino & Miu Miu

Imagen
Two of my favourite brands have produced two of my favourite campaigns of the season. Rianne, who may end up being this season's campaign queen, is in both of them and is the highlight of both ads.  Gigi, who not many people will see as a Valentino girl, is the other highlight. Valentino Spring/Summer 2018: Rianne van Rompaey, Oumie Jammeh, Adut Akech, Gigi Hadid, Felice Noordhoff by Inez&Vinoodh Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2018: Rianne van Rompaey, Edie Campbell, Elle Fanning, Olivia Anakwe, Oumie Jammeh, Faith Lynch, Adwoa Aboah & Cameron Russell by Alasdair McLellan

Barbara Palvin at the Miu Miu/LOVE Magazine party

When I first created this blog (many moons ago), I was obsessed with Barbara. And sometimes I just look at her and think: well, that's why! She is a ridiculously beautiful human being, and when she is properly styled, just a few can beat her beauty. This is one of those examples of perfect style. Though I admit I'm biased in this case, because I love that ponytail more than I love any other hairstyle, and it just looks perfect on her. Paired with that make-up and dress, they managed to make her look like a doll. Though, to be fair, it's not the hardest thing to achieve.

Fashion Week S/S 2018: Top walker, Kiki Willems

Imagen
My gif (Video source: Jimmy Choo) Before this season began, I told you which models I wanted to see everywhere. On that post, I didn't mention Kiki because I knew she'd be everywhere. She has becomed the best/most booked model of the past 2 years and her CV speaks for itself. Even though she walks less shows nowadays, since she's a more established model, she still walked for 37 designers. That doesn't make it the top walker, since Charlee Fraser walked 50 shows. But Kiki comes number 1 on the Top Shows walked list (tied with He Cong and Léa Julian). Out of those 31 top shows (only 6 from her list are considered as "not top", but we could argue about that), she opened Missoni and DVF and closed Christopher Kane.  What makes her special is the fact that she has being booking those shows for a while now, and casting directors don't get bored of her. On the contrary, they can't get enough! She is what we call a supermodel, who works ver...
