Kaia Gerber for I-D Summer 2018

Last week, I talked about the "Daisy Love" campaign by Marc Jacobs, and Kaia was one of the models on that ad. I really like her representing that fragance, because it is really age appropiate and she looks comfortable. But I really like her on this editorial too, and it is quite different. I guess it makes sense because Kaia should easily fit on the "cool kids" group. And that's what this cover and editorial (and magazine) is all about. The cover is quite clever, and they didn't make her wink.

Alberta Ferretti S/S 2018 campaign, by Mario Sorrenti #blogmasday17

Here we go again, time for campaigns! Like I did last season, I'll just talk about the ones I feel are worth my time. And at the end of the season, I'll let you know who the queens of the season are. So far, Vittoria is on the lead. Alberta Ferretti presented a beautiful collection for SS, and Sorrenti and the models manage to make the clothes shine as much as they did on the runway. Vittoria, with her mediterranean beauty, is perfect for this brand. Really happy to see her back on the campaign. And Cara is ten times better on pictures than she is on the runway, so I'm not too bothered by her being part of the ad. However, I do feel like there were many models on the show that could have been a better fit that Cara and Binx. I would normally complain about such a simple background, but it actually works really well with the colours of the clothes. It adds a very nice light that compliments those shiny materials and gives a bit more life to the matte darker ...

Taylor Hill x Joe's Jeans, Holiday 2017

Not the first time I mention this collaboration between Taylor and Joe's Jeans but, seriously, anyone who knows me can see why I am obsessed with this Holiday collection. It has a very strong rock vibe, which fits my style completely. The flannels, the crop tops, the oversize jumpers, the really flattering jeans, ...I want it all, Santa. And it fits Taylor's beauty so well. I can't get over how gorgeous she looks on the picture with the guitar. Just stunning. More of this, Tay Tay!

Taylor Hill x Joe's Jeans

I'm not a jeans person, and that makes my life really hard. Though I do appreciate it when other people wear amazing jeans that look incredible on them.  It's because of this jeans phobia that I don't really pay attention to brands that only do jeans, but this one caught my attention by getting Taylor to do a collaboration with them. According to her, this is a very 90's collection and I like the sound of that. Hight-waisted is my favourite kind of trouser, because it is the most flattering and the most comfortable.  I'll leave you a couple of pictures from the campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti, and also some videos so you can see how everything looks in motion.

H&M Summer 2017 : Anna Mila, Birgit, Luna, Maartje & Mayowa by Mario Sorrenti

Fashion can be very pretentious, and that's why sometimes I really appreciate a simple nice campaign with beatiful models. Walking into a store like H&M shouldn't be intimidating, it should be cozy and make you happy. You walk around looking at the clothes and also looking at the pictures/videos on the walls.  At the moment, they have the new summer campaign on their shops, and it just makes you want to buy everything. The models look gorgeous, the clothes have amazing colours that work really well together. And it's cheaper than pretty much all the other shops.  The film is very captivating. I have watched the last two episodes of GNTM live, and they showed it multiple times during the adverts. You can't change the channel when that's on. My only complaint is that the gorgeous portraits that they have on the stores are not on their website. I can show you the one Maartje posted on her instagram, but I wish I could show you all of them in HQ. ...

Fall/Winter 16.17 campaigns: Massimo Dutti, Mango, Zara & Topshop

My gif (Video source: Zara's yt channel) When I talk about highstreet stores and their campaigns, I mainly talk about Spanish stores. But I feel like not many people know that Zara, Massimo Dutti, Mango, ...(Bershka, Stradivarius, etc...) are all from Spain. And, actually, most of them belong to the same company. Anyway, let's see if these campaigns are any good. Massimo Dutti Fall/Winter 16.17: Ine Neefs, Julia Hafstrom, Sean O'Pry & Steven Chevrin by Mario Testino One season I like their ads, the next I don't...it's like a cycle. And this time I have to say that I don't like this c...
