Ph: Steven Meisel Many HQ pictures of old Italian Vogue issues have been posted on TFS recently, and I feel like sharing some of my favourites with you. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I adore Julia Bergshoeff's beauty. Everyone calls her "baby Daria W.", so it makes sense that I adore Daria's beauty as well. I discovered Daria back in 2008 and fell in love with her look immediately. However, I feel like she's aged badly in the last couple of years. She's still gorgeous, though. And she used to be Meisel's muse, before something happened and they stopped working together. She got like 4 or 5 VI covers, all of them equally beautiful. But this one (and its ed) is my favourite. I mean, look at that face and tell me it's not one of the most beautiful faces you've ever seen. You just can't. Absolute stunner. "The face of today", by Steven Meisel Muchas fotos en ...

Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Zara, H&M & Massimo Dutti

Time to talk about highstreet stores and their campaigns. These are the ones where we buy most of our clothes, and that's why these ads are so important. Toca hablar de las tiendas más asequibles y de sus campañas. Aquí es donde compramos la mayor parte de nuestra ropa, y por eso estos anuncios son tan importantes. Zara Spring/Summer 2015: Grace Hartzel, Ine Neefs and Jean Campbell by Jamie Hawkesworth Ine got the campaign again. As I said last season, her classic beauty is perfect for this kind of ad. And, apart from her, they used two more models who are having a lot of success right now. The campaign feels very Chloé, which is good for me. I like how colorful it is. These ads are supposed to be eye-catching, and this one definetely is. Ine ha vuelto a conseguir esta campaña. Como dije la temporada pasada, su belleza clásica es perfecta para este tipo de campaña. Y, aparte de ella, han usado a otras dos modelos que están triunfando bastante ah...

Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Missoni, Max Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo & Jil Sander

Missoni Spring/Summer 2015: Amanda Murphy by Viviane Carrozzini Oh well, I guess Amanda is still getting campaigns. I really don't like her, and this campaign won't be the one that makes me change my mind. I don't think she fits the vibe of the collection, and the campaign itself feels wrong.  Bueno, pues supongo que Amanda sigue consiguiendo campañas. No me gusta nada, y esta campaña no va a ser la que me haga cambiar de opinión. No creo que pegue con la inspiración de la colección, y la campaña en si me parece mala. Max Mara Spring/Summer 2015: Carolyn Murphy by Mario Sorrenti I like it, but when you see all the pictures together, you may get a migraine. But it's nice. Me gusta, pero si ves todas las fotos juntas, te da migraña. Pero es bonita. Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2015: Daria Werbowy & Arthur Gosse by Mert&Marcus I know this campaign is a bit to...

W magazine September 2014: Supernormal Supermodels

You may have seen this editorial already because lots of people talked about how much they like it when it came out. And, what's not to like about this ed? The cast is incredible. We've got big top models like Kate Moss, Mariacarla or Lara Stone, and newer girls who are on top of their game right now like Anna Ewers and Amanda Murphy. When I first saw the pictures, I thought it was Bruce Weber who shot it. But I guess Mert & Marcus got inspired by his work, because they're the ones who shot this story. Weber is one of my favourite photographers, and if any picture looks similar to the ones he takes, I'm very likely to love that picture. So, I like the cast and I like the style of the photos. That means I like pretty much everything. In my opinion, Mariacarla and Anna outshine the other models. But I'm totally biased ;) My favourite photo is the group shot where the models are topless. I love how natural it is. That's why the editorial is called ...
