Byredo 'Velvet Haze' Fragrance 2017 : Kiki Willems by Craig McDean

Remember when I talked about Kiki being the queen of the campaign season and scoring 9 campaigns? Well, make it 10. And this one has to my favourite because of how they played with the colours. The orangy-red paired with her bright hair, the little pops of blue that match her eyes...  Eye catching for sure.

Queen of the campaign season (Part 1): Faretta

Now that 95% of the ads are out, let's talk about the two models who killed it during this campaign season. I wanted to also include some honorable mentions for Bella (8 campaigns), Gigi Hadid and Taylor Hill (6 campaigns each) and Freja Beha, Grace Elizabeth & Birgit Kos. They all had outstanding seasons, but they didn't reach neither Faretta's nor the other model's (not telling you yet) level. If you had asked me who I thought will get most campaigns when the shows ended in March, I would have said Faretta. She already scored big campaigns for the SS 17 season, and her runway season was flawless despite skipping NYFW. However, despite getting 8 huge campaigns and working with different photographers, she didn't wowed me once. Her best campaign is probably Zara, the rest...still weak. She has to improve a lot. #tbt: Rock'n Rose by Valentino (Mona Johanneson by Craig McDean)

A couple of weeks ago, I saw that Elle Sweden produced a gorgeous cover with some of their most iconic models, and Mona was one of them. Everytime I see her, I think about this ad for Valentino. This perfume is my all time favourite, and the reason why I tried it in the first place was this tv commercial. It came out when I was starting to be into fashion. Good times! I already mentioned this on a post I did years ago about my perfumes and their campaigns, which still is the most viewed post I've ever published. Should I do an updated version of it?  http://putonachicface.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/my-perfumes-and-their-campaigns.html  Can we talk about how much better my English is nowadays? xD It's Valentino, it has roses and the word rock on it. It's as if they created it for me ;) Ph: Craig McDean Hace unas semanas vi que Elle Suecia había producido una preciosa portada con algunas de sus modelos más icónicas y Mona era una de ellas. Siempre que l...

Fall/Winter 16.17 campaigns: Massimo Dutti, Mango, Zara & Topshop

My gif (Video source: Zara's yt channel) When I talk about highstreet stores and their campaigns, I mainly talk about Spanish stores. But I feel like not many people know that Zara, Massimo Dutti, Mango, ...(Bershka, Stradivarius, etc...) are all from Spain. And, actually, most of them belong to the same company. Anyway, let's see if these campaigns are any good. Massimo Dutti Fall/Winter 16.17: Ine Neefs, Julia Hafstrom, Sean O'Pry & Steven Chevrin by Mario Testino One season I like their ads, the next I don't...it's like a cycle. And this time I have to say that I don't like this c...
