Barbara Palvin at the Miu Miu/LOVE Magazine party

Imagen
When I first created this blog (many moons ago), I was obsessed with Barbara. And sometimes I just look at her and think: well, that's why! She is a ridiculously beautiful human being, and when she is properly styled, just a few can beat her beauty. This is one of those examples of perfect style. Though I admit I'm biased in this case, because I love that ponytail more than I love any other hairstyle, and it just looks perfect on her. Paired with that make-up and dress, they managed to make her look like a doll. Though, to be fair, it's not the hardest thing to achieve.

Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018: Alberta Ferretti's beauty look

Imagen
So, as I told you, I'm going to talk about fashion week related things that inspired me in one way or another. And this beauty look from the Alberta Ferretti show inspired me in so many ways. I first saw it on Blanca Padilla's ig stories (which I screenshot for you) and then I saw it on all the official pictures from the show. It was one of the most beautiful looks. It's a silvery smoky eye and Blanca explained to us how to get it. They are obviously using a shadow as a base and they blended to created a soft cat eye effect underneath the glitter that they put on top. Crazy simple and always flattering.  The rest of the face was kept quite simple, but they did try to give the models dewy skin, which looks really good with the wet hair effect they went for. Apart from Blanca's photos, I'm posting tons of Barbara Palvin pictures where you can see the final look. She makes any look beautiful because, well, her face is pretty flawless. Also, I'm po...

amfAR Gala 2017: Best & Worst looks

Imagen
My gif (Video source: Associated Press) For someone who doesn't really care about the movies, the amfAR Gala is the last big event of the Cannes festival.  Many models attend and also celebrities who join every single party. And we get so many red carpet looks, that they can't all be good.  I just wanted to briefly tell you a few of my favourites and a few of my least favourites. It's a very personal opinion and you can disagree with it. Allá vamos: Best looks :  Willow Hand, wearing Oday Shakar...

Mermaid hair with Colorista, by L'oreal

Imagen
Isn't it funny when you talk about how much you need something and then you find it? It happened to me with this L'oreal product. I was talking about how I wanted them to release it already, because I need purple hair in my life (but can't dye it permanently like that for work reasons), and then I saw this video on Barbara Palvin's Bellazon thread. Now my hunt for the product begins. If you were to use any of these colours, which one would you choose? I need purple hair more than I need coffee.

Chaos, new brand by Charlotte Stockdale & Katie Lyall

Imagen
I'm a curious person, in general. And when it comes to fashion, I'm super curious all the time. Ever since I started to follow this world (almost 10 years ago), I craved knowing more about it. Everytime I saw something or someone that was new to me, I had to do some research to get more information. However, it's been different lately. My lack of time to do this kind of thing for fun has made me lazy. Or what I understand for lazy, which is probably different for you. "I had a super lazy day today. I only worked for 4 hours, studied for 2 hours and spent the rest of the day reading", that's a real quote. So, when I started to see this "Chaos" brand being featured everywhere, I thought that it was just another one of those new brands. Then I was reading one of those supplements that come with the newspaper and I saw there was an article about it, and that's when my curiosity came back. I read the article and found out Charlotte Stockdale (a...

Cannes Festival 2016: Barbara Palvin & Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Imagen
People say pink and red don't go well together. Well, we're mixing those two colours today ;) Barbara has been attending this festival for a while, since she's one of the main faces of L'oreal. And I always say she's never going to beat the look worn on her first appearance. However, this year's look gets 2nd place. I feel like they always tend to make her wear black, to make her look thinner (I know, I'm rolling my eyes too). Therefore, I welcome this softer look. I'm in love with Lorenzo Serafini's work for Philosophy, and this dress is just another example. I also adore the hair and make-up. She looks gorgeous. And what about Rosie? God, she's a total queen. She could make me want to wear the ugliest dress in the world, just because it'll look amazing on her. Red seems to be an unpopular colour when it comes to the red carpet, but she makes it work. This Alexandre Vauthier is (like 99% of his designs) sexy but classy. With tha...

L'Express Styles December 2015: Barbara Palvin by Dusan Reljin

Imagen
One of my first posts ever was about Barbara. And she's been featured in this blog quite a few times ever since. That's because I used to be obsessed with her look. But now her career is kind of boring. However, we still get nice eds from time to time. This one is an example, isn't it? When I saw it, I knew I had to share it with you. This rock chick look works perfectly on her, because it looks natural. You can imagine her looking like that when she goes out with her friends.  Those eyes are gorgeous, and when you add some black eyeliner to the equation...it's another level of beauty.  "Rock is in the hair" Una de mis primeras entradas fue sobre Barbara.

InStyle Hungary: no make-up editorial with Barbara Palvin, by Krisztian Éder

Imagen
I'm not a big fan of these "no make-up"/"no photoshop" eds, since I find it hard to believe they didn't use any of their tricks in the pictures. However, these images are incredibly beautiful, and I needed to share them with you. I've talked about Barbara before. She's one of my favourite models, and I think she's one of the most naturally beautiful models I've ever seen. With a face like hers, she can do as many "no make-up" eds as she wants. But what I like the most is the vybe of the shoot. It's all very simple, but it has a nice touch. It's very intimate and minimal, and it brings out our emotions when we look at the pictures. I really hope you enjoy this ed as much as I did.

Models and their instagrams

I've been thinking about doing this post for a while. I don't have an instagram, but I check it on my computer to see what the models are up to. It's a great way for them to share news, personal pictures, and those kind of things. Actually, instagram (and twitter) got crazy on Monday, because lots of models confirmed they were walking the VSFS by posting a picture on their instagram. That's why I wanted to show you the models you should be following on IG. Like US Vogue said, the "instagirls" are very important now. I'll show you the models I follow, and the ones that have a crazy amount of followers, even if they're not my favourites. Madame Figaro France 31st October 2014: Barbara Palvin by Nico

Imagen
I'm not talking about Victoria's Secret today. I'll do more posts about the show, but not today. Today I want to talk about a model who looked like she was going to be an angel, but then she stopped working for the brand. I'm talking about Barbara Palvin. Barbara is a favourite of mine. I really like her look, and her work. This editorial is a really good one, and I wanted to share it with you. The first time Barbara did something like this, with some kind of nudity, she looked really nervous. Now I'm starting to think that may have been done on purpose, because she looks super confident here. She has a strong look, and this editorial shows that. The close-ups are great, because her face is perfect. I really like this story.
