Let's talk about some of the most important Italian brands, which have disappointed me a little this season. I'll let you know why. Hablemos de algunas de las marcas italianas más importantes, las cuales me han decepcionado un poco esta temporada. Ahora os explico las razones. Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2015: Saskia de Brauw & Sun Jin Park by Nobuyoshi Araki This is my favourite out of the three ads I'm talking about today, yet I don't think it's that good. I didn't expect Saskia to be featured in this ad, and I don't like the idea of her being in it. Other models who walked the show fit the brand better, so that disappointed me.  I never know what to say about Saskia, because I don't like her as a model, but I do like some eds and campaigns she's done. This time, I only like her shot with the male model, who saves the ad. I expected more from BV. Esta es mi favorita de las tres campañas de las...

W magazine September 2014: Supernormal Supermodels

You may have seen this editorial already because lots of people talked about how much they like it when it came out. And, what's not to like about this ed? The cast is incredible. We've got big top models like Kate Moss, Mariacarla or Lara Stone, and newer girls who are on top of their game right now like Anna Ewers and Amanda Murphy. When I first saw the pictures, I thought it was Bruce Weber who shot it. But I guess Mert & Marcus got inspired by his work, because they're the ones who shot this story. Weber is one of my favourite photographers, and if any picture looks similar to the ones he takes, I'm very likely to love that picture. So, I like the cast and I like the style of the photos. That means I like pretty much everything. In my opinion, Mariacarla and Anna outshine the other models. But I'm totally biased ;) My favourite photo is the group shot where the models are topless. I love how natural it is. That's why the editorial is called ...

New collaboration between a designer and H&M. I've already talked about this on my other blog, where I showed the lookbook, but today's post is about the history of the brand and the campaign. If you want to check the lookbook, go here:  http://putonachicstyle.blogspot.com.es/2013/09/isabel-marant-for-h-lookbook.html First I want to tell a bit about the brand. It was founded on 1994 by Isabel Marant, a french designer. In 1999 she presents her first collection during PFW, where she showed one of her lines, the Etoile one. She kept exploring the fashion world by creating lingerie, a line for kids and opening different stores. And all of a sudden, big celebrities started to wear her designs and she became as popular as she is nowadays. And that's basically what you need, some celebrities saying your clothes are amazing, and everyone starts saying how they always loved the brand (that's why I hate it girls). Since 2009 the brand gets bigger and bigger. She always ...
