My gif (Video source: Ferragamo's yt channel) I'm back with more campaigns. I'm going to try to finish talking about them before the shows start. And today I want to talk about 3 Italian brands that couldn't be more different. I'm going to be playing favourites today, by the way. Ya estoy de vuelta con más campañas. Voy a intentar terminar de hablar de ellas antes de que empiecen los desfiles.  Y hoy os quiero hablar de 3 marcas italianas que no podrían ser más diferentes. Moschino Fall/Winter 16.17: Raquel Zimmermann, Stella Tennant, Anja Rubik & Anna Cleveland by Steven Meisel Well, Meisel did it once again. He really is Jeremy's savior, because only Steven could make these clothes look decent. Every season I complain about how awful the clothes are, and every season I have to say how Meisel made the collection look like it really is fashion. A lot of people have complained about how the models are overdoing it on this ad but, ...

Spring/Summer 2016 campaigns: Loewe & Isabel Marant

On my last post, I talked about a "not comeback". Well, I guess it's time to talk about a real comeback: Raquel's. I already talked about her Versace campaign, and now it's time to talk about the other two major campaigns she scored. Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2016: Raquel Zimmermann by Inez&Vinoodh Well, you know I'm not Marant's fan. I kind of liked the S/S 15 ad with Natasha, but I feel like the next two have been too similar to that one. You can change the model, but that's not enough. The last three campaigns look more like Vogue Paris' editorials.  And that's what I don't like about this brand. They always go for the safest option. They never take risks, and...

Spring/Summer 2016 campaigns: Versace & Versus

I really wanted to talk about the new campaigns before the year ended. But most ads are not out yet, and I can't talk about something I haven't seen.  Fortunately for me, Versace is known for being one of the first brands to release its campaigns. Thank you, Donatella. I wish I could thank you by saying beautiful things about these ads, but that won't happen. Not my fault, though. Versace Spring/Summer 2016: Gigi Hadid, Natasha Poly & Raquel Zimmermann by Steven Klein It took them more that 10 years to give Natasha a Versace campaign, and this is what they do. Outrageous!!...

Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016: Review #3

-Blumarine: The thing with Blumarine is that I never know what to expect. I used to know, but now it's not that easy. And, I kind of like that feeling, since it makes things more interesting.  Now they're going for a dreamier collection, but with some see-through outfits, which is a great trend for SS 16. And it also fits the sexy vibe of the brand. -Sportmax: Last season's collection was their best collection ever, in my opinion. This one, however, was a bit disappointing. I'm a massive fan of Max Mara and its 5000 lines. Actually, Sportmax is probably my favourite line, but this time they failed....

W magazine September 2014: Supernormal Supermodels

You may have seen this editorial already because lots of people talked about how much they like it when it came out. And, what's not to like about this ed? The cast is incredible. We've got big top models like Kate Moss, Mariacarla or Lara Stone, and newer girls who are on top of their game right now like Anna Ewers and Amanda Murphy. When I first saw the pictures, I thought it was Bruce Weber who shot it. But I guess Mert & Marcus got inspired by his work, because they're the ones who shot this story. Weber is one of my favourite photographers, and if any picture looks similar to the ones he takes, I'm very likely to love that picture. So, I like the cast and I like the style of the photos. That means I like pretty much everything. In my opinion, Mariacarla and Anna outshine the other models. But I'm totally biased ;) My favourite photo is the group shot where the models are topless. I love how natural it is. That's why the editorial is called ...
