H&M "Back to black" collection

Imagen
Agnes Akerlund for H&M Divided I don't think I've ever written about a collection like this on my blog. There is always a first time for everything... But it did catch my attention when I saw it on twitter. However, I've got things to say. The clothes are amazing and fit my style completely, but...stop mixing grunge and metal. Then we have kids comparing Metallica with Nirvana and I have heart attacks.  And despite loving that Iron Maiden t-shirt, I'll never buy it. Why? Because I want my band tees to be more original, not the ones from H&M or Forever 21 that all the posers are going to wear. Sorry if it sounds harsh but...it is what it is. Still love the collection, though. Check it out!  I need this blouse!  I NEED this shirt  I love this tee!! Totally my style Rest of the collection:  http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/ladies/shop-by-feature/9gd-back-to-black.html Creo que nunca he escrito una entrada sobre u...

Celebrity streetstyle: Bella Hadid

Models who are also celebrities are a great source of streetstyle inspiration. They usually have a certain style, picked by their stylist, but they experiment a lot as well. One week they have a very defined style, but God knows what they'll wear the next. I personally don't like most of Bella's outfits, but this one I LOVED it. It's as if I had picked it for her 😉 This grunge style look is not easy to pull of, because if it doesn't fit your personality, you're likely to look like you're trying to hard (which is usually the case). But it looks great on Bella and I think her stylist should use this kind of look on her more often, rather than the fake tacky early 2000's she goes for most of the time. Las modelos que son celebrities también son una gran fuente de inspiración en cuanto a ropa. Suelen tener un estilo concreto, que elige su estilista, pero experimentan mucho también. Una semana tienen un estilo super definido, pero a sab...

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion. As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. That's how I discovered this editorial, shot by Steven Meisel. Meisel...
