It's Cara time! Saint Laurent Paris (Part 1): Cara Delevingne & Cole Smith by Hedi Slimane If you don't like Cara, you better stop reading because this entry is all about her. I'm going to be showing you 5 campaigns with her on them. Only one of them is MG, which says a lot about her career.  The first one is SLP. It wasn't surprising at all for me to see she booked this campaign. We all know Hedi is desperated to change the image of the brand, and she loves using it girls. And of course he's doing two parts like last year, because he thinks one isn't enough. He wants to torture us twice. This campaign is plain as it can be. Good thing is we have a couple of photos which are NOT black & white. Now that was surprising.  If you put a camera on my hands, I won't be able to take two perfect pictures even if I try and try and try and try... but these pictures are as amateurs as my pictures. Some of them are nice, though. Nice but plain. ...

Spring / Summer 2013 campaigns: Prada, Saint Laurent Paris & Yves Saint Laurent Beauty

Prada SS 2013: Vanessa Axente, Saskia de Brauw, Irina Kravchenko, Eva Herzigova, Sung Hee, Irene Hiemstra, Kirsten Owen, Sasha Pivovarova, Amber Valletta, Maartje Verhoef & Raquel Zimmermann by Steven Meisel. Every single season, the fashion world stops when we get to see Prada's campaign. This season too, and I have to say that this time it was quite worth the wait. As I said here, I didn't like the collection. But this campaign makes the clothes look better than they really are, which is always the objetive of a campaign. The cast is also a highlight. Sasha is back, and she's the definition of a Prada girl. Her shots are THE BEST, just look at that stare. Raquel and Eva are also amazing, and they stand out in this campaign. With the rest of the girls I have different feelings. Vanessa looks really good, and this is the first time she looks good (for me). And Saskia, well, I don't like that they wanted to show Givenchy's Saskia. Why are they using t...
