Put on a Chic face

During GNTM I already talked about my favourite GNTM contestants of the last cycle a couple of months ago. And guess what? One won and the other one was robbed during the semis.  However, today I want to talk to you about the runner-up, who is currently the only model of the cycle I can see succeeding: Serlina Hohmann. Get ready to fall in love with her. After the show, she was stuck with the show's agency (Heidi Klum's dad's agency), but managed to get out of that contract quite easily. She then moved to Israel to build her portfolio, and now is signed with Modelwerk in Germany. Her look is more on the commercial side but that's part of the game too, isn't it? Should we call the Victoria's Secret people already? I think so. If you know me a little, you'll know that I'm a MASSIVE GNTM fan. Heidi is proud of me. It's funny, because knowing so much about fashion, I see tons of flaws on every single episode. But, to be honest, I don't care. It's so entertaining, it's actually ridiculous. And because of my love for the show, I have talked about it here on the blog multiple times.  I usually like to do a post either before or after the cycle, but this time I'm doing it now that we've already seen half of the episodes. I didn't realize it had started a couple of weeks ago, so I couldn't really do it before the beginning of this 12th cycle. And what I want to do is talk about my two favourite contestants, who are both on Team Thomas (Hayo). I mean Maja Manczak and Céline Bethmann.  I like Céline, even though I don't see her having a long career in fashion. But I think she can do great on the German market. Another season of GNTM is over (congrats to Vanessa Fuchs, the winner), and I wanted to talk about the model that I think has the most potential. This season wasn't as good as the last one, where lots of models looked like...well, models. I guess that's why Katha's potential was so obvious to me. She may not have the best body or the prettiest face, but she has the look. She looked better pre-show, when her hair colour was natural. I hate that bleach blonde on her, because it makes her look cheap. Funny thing is that she was working already with a good agency before the show, so I don't really get why she decided to participate. She reached the final, but ended 4th. Why? Because the most modelesque girl never wins. Except for Luisa, but that's another story for another day. Her pre-show portofolio is really good actually.
