Campaign season queens S/S 18, Part 2: Vittoria Ceretti (Italy)

Imagen
For the second time in three seasons, we're crowning Vittoria as the campaign queen. The fashion world gets more and more fickle, which makes this achievemente even more impressive.  Vittoria scored a total of 9 blue chip campaigns. Though, if we counted all her Chanel beauty ads individually...the number will increase quite a bit. Great season for her. And since I adore her, you won't see me complaining if she's the queen again next season. New York Fashion Week FW 18.19: Proenza Schouler's "Arizona" perfume & Colovos fashion show

Imagen
First post of the fashion month and I'm already apologizing for not posting anything on Saturday. It's busy around here, but today I have two things in one...to compensate. "Arizona", first fragance by Proenza Schouler: Vittoria Ceretti by Tyrone Lebon Anyone who knows me just a little, will know I adore Proenza Schouler. And I adore fragances as well, so this was definetely a match made in heaven. Add Vittoria to the mix, and I can't deal with all these fashionable feelings. There was an event during NYFW to present this fragance and Vittoria was there looking her best.

New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 17.18: Review #2

Second and final review for NYFW. It has been quite a good week, if I'm honest. I feel like I'm more into fashion than I was last season, and that makes me happy. I hope LFW doesn't kill my vibe ;)  Shows that are worth a mention are ODLR and Proenza Schouler. De la Renta because they have new designers, who I think did a great job. This felt more like the classic ODLR than Copping's ODLR ever did. And Proenza because this was their last show in NY. They're moving to Paris, which is always exciting. I adore this brand and if I could purchase all their clothes, I won't hesitate for a second. This collection was supposed to be all about NY, which is a concept that I fail to understand. But I know I liked it, so it's all good. I also really enjoyed Narciso Rodriguez's show, as usual, and Ralph Lauren's. You can argue that Ralph does the same thing over and over again, but...it's SO pretty! How can I not like it? Segunda y última reseñ...

Fall/Winter 16.17 campaigns: Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Proenza Schouler & Max Mara

My gif (Video source: Valentino's yt channel) Back to the campaigns!! Today, I'll be talking about 3 brands that presented gorgeous collections during fashion week and one whose collection I didn't like much. Were the photographers able to work their magic this time? We'll see. Veremos. Ralph Lauren Fall/Winter 16.17: Sanne Vloet & Cindy Bruna by Bruce Weber Sanne is the new Valentina, and that's great. However, I miss seeing in this ad some models who were lovely on the runway show, such as Kate G. (who got the Polo Ralph Lauren campaign) and Maartje Verhoef (who closed the show).  The pictures are classic Ralph Lauren. Nothing new, but really pretty.

New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 16.17: Review #7

-Proenza Schouler: I have to talk about the casting first. I apologize if this bit is not that interesting for you. Exclusive wise, I'm quite happy. Julia B. is back and you know I love Roos (semi-exclusive) too. But this Mayka girl, who is from Spain, makes me mad. There are so many beautiful models in Spain trying to be successful in this industry and, who's the one scoring exclusives for Prada and Proenza? The ugly one. And when I say ugly, I mean it. So unfair. Surprised to see CBN back, by the way. What about the collection? Well, I kind of have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it. The first bunch of outfits is STUNNING. But I feel like, after that, the collection got worst. It's still a gorgeous collection, don't get me wrong. But the second and third bunch of outfits is not as striking as the first.  And yeah, I always divide collections in three parts. You may have noticed that ;) Tengo que hablar del casting primero, siento si esa par...

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016: Review #7

-Proenza Schouler: They're back!! After a couple of seasons without producing amazing collections like they used to, they're back to creating clothes that I fall in love with.  It's different, but it feels like Proenza. Fantastic. -Ralph Lauren: Even though Ralph Lauren usually goes for the same kind of designs, they try to go for a different theme every season. And then, around that theme, they change the clothes. This time, we have models who are ready to go to the French Riviera. Not a bad plan, at all. As always, all the outfits are incredibly chic, wearable and elegant. He may not have collections that change the way we see fashion, but he creates gorgeous clothes. Pese a que Ra...
