Put on a Chic face

How about a more simple but still great post for my back to work day? I think it is a good idea. You may know that I like Vittoria as a model, but you may not know I used to be a big fan of Ansel, in general. It is not as if I'm not a fan now but, I just don't follow him as much. That's why this editorial came as a bit of a surprise, but a pleasant one. They are both gorgeous, and I love these pictures. Probablemente ya sepáis que me gusta Vittoria como modelo, pero puede que no sepáis que solía ser muy fan de Ansel, en general. No es que ahora no sea fan, pero no le sigo tanto. Por eso este editorial me pilló por sorpresa, pero fue una sorpresa buena. Los dos son guapísimos y me encantan estas fotos. 

Ph. Annie Leibovitz When I first found out about Jennifer being the cover star for this September issue, I wasn't very excited about the whole thing. And when I saw the Annie cover, I was like: Bye! Not interested! Then I saw the other three and, I must admit I kind of love I&V's. Her expression is not the best, but she's an actress, not a model. My biggest complaint is the cover girl choice. If they knew they were going to produce 4 covers, why not picking 4 different women? (Or, God forbid, men?) It is an anniversary issue...go big or go home. Still better than expected... Ph. Inez & Vinoodh Well, I never thought I'll be writing about Zayn on my blog. Funny life this one. But, I like this cover and I wanted to talk about it. Out of the 3 that Gigi has done for US Vogue in the last 12 months (yes, crazy!), this is the best. Zayn and her brother are props.  I know there has been a lot of drama with the whole gender fluid thing but, if you look past that, you'll see Gigi looks phenomenal. Nunca pensé que hablaría de Zayn en mi blog. Que vida esta... Pero me gusta esta portada y quiero hablar de ella. De las 3 que Gigi ha hecho para US Vogue en los últimos 12 meses (lo se, ¡es una locura!), esta es la mejor. Zayn y su hermano son decoración. Se que ha habido mucho drama con el tema del gender fluid pero, olvidando eso, Gigi sale increíble.

Welcome to another episode of "Ana has to apologize for not posting two days ago". This time I have a good excuse, though. One of the cats gave birth to five mini kittens on Monday, and I was too busy making sure she was ok (she is) and that all the kittens were doing ok as well (they are).  Besides, I have to blog posts planned, but I need to really work on them like I did with the Dior post from last week, which I hope you enjoyed. So yeah...for different reasons, I couldn't bring myself to doing any writing on Monday. Sorry!! Today I woke up excited about opening the front door and getting the newspaper. I always like reading the news, but this time there was something else in there: The Times Magazine supplement. Note: I'm writing this on Saturday. I normally enjoy the weekend supplements a lot, mainly the fashion one. But this time my whole focus was on this one because Maria Sharapova was on the cover. And that is one of the many covers and interviews I've seen from her lately. Her comeback is approaching, and you know, you have to make sure everyone knows. Anyone who knows me just a little knows Maria is my idol. I've been following her career for 11 years, with all its ups and downs. I do believe I am the way I am right now for many differents reasons, one of them being her. She was a great influence for me in my teenage years and taught me that not only could I dream big, I had to do it.  I don't believe in celebrities having to control their every move just so they ...
