Bella Hadid for Nike "Beautiful x Powerful"

Imagen
Today is the day when I'm finally writing the post about Bella and Nike. I've been doing some research for the last couple of weeks, because I really wanted to get all the facts right. Bella is a Nike spokesperson/model and is now doing a lot of promotion for them. I tried to get a press release about all of this, to make sure I could give you the best information possible. But there isn't one at the moment. However, I did got some info from Nike, which I'll be adding to this post and I think you'll be interested in some of those things. So keep reading ;) First, I want to show you some photos from Bella's collaboration with Nike on their "Beautiful x Powerful" campaign. These products are already available in stores, and I'll link you to the range and also to the shoe range she's promoting. -Beautiful x Powerful:  http://store.nike.com/ie/en_gb/pw/womens-nike-beautiful-x-powerful-collection/7ptZr48?cp=euns_kw_bra!...

Bella Hadid x Nike + bodyshaming talk

Imagen
Bella's instagram Bodyshaming is something that has always been a part of my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been judged because of how skinny I am. It still happens but, I couldn't care less now. It still hurts to talk about it, though. However, we have to talk about it to show how not ok it is to do that. Whether it is mocking someone who's overweight or someone who's underweight, it is not ok. When it was announced that Bella was Nike's new spokesmodel, a lot of people went crazy. They thought she couldn't be the face of this brand because she doesn't look athletic. Fair enough, I may agree with them on that one but I don't look athletic either and I buy Nike stuff, so...she kind of represents me, right? The other complaint was that she's too skinny. Because, you know, skinny women (and men) don't buy stuff from Nike and/or practise any kind of sport (and/or are real). Back to bodyshaming. We want all sizes an...

Celebritie streetstyle: Maria Sharapova

Imagen
If you know me just a little, you'll know Maria is my idol. And if you know just a little about tennis and what's being going on lately, you'll know this hasn't been an easy year.  But this year has also shown how she's more than just a tennis player. The management behind her is absolutely brilliant, and one of the things that management has done to help with her image is increasing the number of paparazzi who follow her. And if you're followed often, you need to look good...that's where the stylist comes into the action. What I mean by all of this, is that all of a sudden we got tons of pictures of her where we could see different outfits. And that means a streetstyle post had to be done. How could I not take this chance? ;) Look 1 Look 2 Look 3 Si me conocéis un poco, sabréis que Maria es mi ídolo. Y si sabéis solo un poco de tenis y de lo que ha pasado últimamente, sabréis que este año no ha sido uno sencillo. ...

Nike Women x Pedro Lourenço ( with Karlie Kloss)

Imagen
I'm not sure if I've said this before, but I'm obsessed with sports clothing. I can't watch a tennis match, for example, without feeling like I should buy what the players are wearing. I try not to buy more sporty clothes, because I don't need them...but then I have to see this campaign and deal with the anxiety that it's making me feel. Kidding....wait, am I kidding? Because I'm really anxious xD But yeah, my point is that two of my favourite things in the world are together in this campaign: sports clothing and fashion. That's why I wanted to show you the collection Pedro Lourenço has created for Nike. It's really cool and pretty. And if you look at the outfits, you can see they're super wearable. You may think that a HF designer is likely to create something more strange and that doesn't allow you to practice sports properly, but it's not the case. This collection is easy to wear and comfy. To be honest, sports clothes are su...
