Put on a Chic face

My gif (Video source: Dior's yt channel) I'm not talking about beauty campaigns this season. Most of them have disappointed me in some way, and I just don't feel like writing about them. However, I still wanted to share with you this new "Backstage Pros" video that Dior has released. What I like about these videos is how fun they are, and how you get to see the products being used. It's not a retouched picture where you can't really appreciate how the products work.  Two of my favourites, Ola and Maartje, are on the video. That only makes it better. When I saw this picture of Bella surrounded by Dior bags I thought: Oh well, let's wait until they make it official and say that she's signed a contract with them.  I didn't have to wait long, did I? Last week, she was named Dior's newest beauty ambassador. Do I like this? Hell no! First of all, I get that they signed her as a celebritie rather than as a model. I get that, and it's fine. But having Jennifer Lawrence as part of the Dior family, it just seems stupid. Are they trying to find a cheaper version of Jennifer? It looks like it. Some people called it a desperate move too. And I kind of agree with that. After Raf's goodbye, the brand has changed quite a lot. They seem to try to compensate the fact that they don't really have a designer by casting girls like Kendall and Bella for their shows. You could call that desperate, yeah.
