Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 16.17: Review #5

-Balenciaga: Where should I begin? I guess a story is a good beginning. I slept really bad last night, and I was attacked (twice!!) by a spider that refused to die. So when I was finally awake and safe, I just wanted to have a quite morning. Well, this show didn't help. It made me choke on my tea. Thank God I was wearing a black t-shirt. Stains are no fun. I mean, what is this? The cast terrified me, but it apparently is the type of cast this designer enjoys. Oh well, I better get used to it. Clothes wise, I guess it's a step in the right direction. But I'm very superficial sometimes and I can't get over the cast.  Though, to be honest, I've never really cared about Balenciaga. So I'd rather see this happening here than on one of my favourite brands. ¿Por dónde empezar? Supongo que una historia es un buen comienzo. Dormí mal anoche, y fui atacada (¡dos veces!) por una araña que se negaba a morir. Así que cuando me desperté por fin y me s...

Hello!! I feel like I'm just making excuses every single day, but I didn't have time to watch the shows today. Mainly because I had too much free time, and I went out to enjoy this sunny day. Also, because I started writing book number 2. I still haven't finished book number 1, but when there is a brainstorm, you can't ignore it. So, let's just say a couple of things about each show, and then I'll let you see how much you like them. Loewe was similar to previous seasons. Jonathan is trying to incorporate his touch, and this new Loewe already feels legit. So he's doing a good job.  Dior was really beautiful. I adore this kind of collection, because Raf is a genius. So soft and dreamy, but very strong too. Marant was very wearable as usual. I don't like her style, but I get why it's popular. And Balenciaga was awful. Thank God Wang is no longer the designer...I didn't like any of his collections for the brand. ¡¡Hola!! Sien...

-Loewe: As he did in his own show, he used the 80's as an inspiration. For me, it's a yes for the trousers and a big no for the skirts. But that's just my personal opinion. I'm not too sure about the fitting either. The silhouettes are interesting, of course. But they're not flattering at all. - Dior: This collection is a continuation of his HC collection. This isn't HC though, it's RTW. That's why it's more wearable and not as daring. I liked the HC show and I like this one as well. I adore the hair. I loved to see Ivana walking for the brand. She's going to be big. Esta col...

I've been out all day, and I haven't had the chance to watch any shows today. I'm going to check each collection at the same time, so I'm sorry if this post is not the best you've ever read. He estado fuera todo el día y no he tenido la oportunidad de ver ningún desfile. Voy a mirar todas las colecciones a la vez, así que siento si esta entrada no es la mejor que hayáis leído.   -Paco Rabanne: I don't usually pay much attention to his collections, but I kind of like this one. The first bunch of outfits don't impress me much, but the rest of the collection is quite good. It has that futuristic vybe the brand is famous for, but it also has an sporty-chic touch that I enjoy more than usual. Not bad. No suelo prestar mucha atención a sus colecciones, pero me gusta bastante esta. El primer grupo de pases no me impresiona mucho, pero el resto de la colección no está mal. Tiene ese estilo futurista por el que es conocida la marc...
