London Fashion Week FW 18.19: Burberry February Show

Imagen
Burberry is one of those brands that are famous enough to be known by people who are not interested in fashion. Same for its aesthetic. But now thar Christopher Bailey is no longer going to design for them, will it change? I have been following fashion shows for eleven years now, and I feel like I have a very specific image in my head when it comes to Burberry. I liked some shows more than others, but it was a constant in my fashion life.  Most designers just create a collection that shows their best work from their time on whichever brand, but this time it was different. It was nice to see a designer taking a bit of a risk on his final collection.  By the colours, it's also easy to see the tribute to the LGBT+ community, which is also wonderful to see.

Festive/Glittery make-up #blogmasday21

Imagen
A couple of days ago, I did a post featuring some festive outfits. This could be seen as part 2 of that post. Over the years, I have talked about many different beauty looks that were glittery. If it shines, I like it. And today, I'll be showing you some of those runway looks I've loved, because it's the season to shine! Got any favourites? Si brilla, me gusta.

Fashion Week S/S 2018: Top walker, Kiki Willems

Imagen
My gif (Video source: Jimmy Choo) Before this season began, I told you which models I wanted to see everywhere. On that post, I didn't mention Kiki because I knew she'd be everywhere. She has becomed the best/most booked model of the past 2 years and her CV speaks for itself. Even though she walks less shows nowadays, since she's a more established model, she still walked for 37 designers. That doesn't make it the top walker, since Charlee Fraser walked 50 shows. But Kiki comes number 1 on the Top Shows walked list (tied with He Cong and Léa Julian). Out of those 31 top shows (only 6 from her list are considered as "not top", but we could argue about that), she opened Missoni and DVF and closed Christopher Kane.  What makes her special is the fact that she has being booking those shows for a while now, and casting directors don't get bored of her. On the contrary, they can't get enough! She is what we call a supermodel, who works ver...

"My Burberry Black", Lily James by Mario Testino

Imagen
When I first heard about Lily being the new face of "My Burberry", I thought that meant she was replacing Cara and Kate. But it turns out she's the face of a new fragance. If you've been following me for a while, you'll already know that my heart skips a beat everytime a new fragance is launched.  I can't wait to smell this one, since I'm a massive fan of the original "My Burberry". This one promises to be darker and sexier. I'll let you know how I like it via instagram (whenever I get to smell it). Let's talk about the campaign now. It features one of the British actresses of the moment: Lily James. I haven't seen much of her, apart from 2 or 3 episodes of Downton Abbey, so I can't really judge her as an actress. But I do like the way she looks on this campaign. Her beauty is kind of sweet and angelic. However, they decided not to be so cliché and style her in a sexy way. It comes out of her naturally, which proves h...

Spring/Summer 2016 campaigns: Hugo Boss, Burberry & Juicy Couture

Imagen
My gif (Video source: Juicy Couture's yt channel) As I did last season, I'm putting 3 brands from 3 countries on the same post. Germany, England and the EEUU are besties today. By the way, on Sunday I forgot to tell you that I uploaded a vlog to my channel. Hugo Boss Spring/Summer 2016: Anna Ewers & Clément Chabernaud by Inez&Vinoodh I love Hugo Boss, I love all the lines they have, and I love this campaign. Who do you hire for the ultimate German brand's campaign? The German supermodel of the moment. I love Anna too. Very simple, but beautiful campaign.

London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 16.17: Recap

Imagen
Hello!!! Did you miss me? ;) The last couple of days have been insane. My whole body is in pain and I desperately need to catch up on sleep. But I'm a very happy person right now. If you've ever experienced fashion week, you'll know how crazy it gets. In such a big city, like London, it's even crazier. I'm kind of jelaous of Barcelona or Madrid, where every single show is done on the same place xD As a mega fangirl, getting to see some of my favourite models in person was just...unbelievable. They're all so tall, and pretty and nice. It's fascinating. Funnily enough, I have more self esteem right now than I did on Thursday. When a topmodel and megababe tells you how pretty she thinks you are...you don't tell her she's wrong, you just keep the compliment with you forever!! It was also great to see some people I haven't seen in months and catch up with them. The problem is that I didn't have much time to check all the collections...

Burberry "Kisses" lip gloss: review & swatches

Imagen
A couple of months ago, I talked about Kendall Jenner's lipstick from the Estée Lauder collection. When I did it, I also wanted to talk about its campaign, since that feels like the thing to do in my blog. I'm not the kind of blogger who posts swatches and things like that. I don't have the talent. However, even though it doesn't have a proper campaign, I still wanted to talk about this gloss that I'm obsessed with. To be honest, I've never tried anything from Burberry's beauty line. It's fairly popular in the UK, but I don't think people really know about it in other countries. And that needs to change. This lip gloss, from their "Kisses" collection is amazing. I used to be really intro lip glosses when I first started to wear make-up. Now, however, I'm more into lipsticks. So, when I tried this, I was kind of shocked to see my lips looking so full and glossy. And it kind of brought back nice memories, which made me smile. Ok...
