New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018: Review #1

Here we go again...and this was supposed to be my second review. I'm sorry but, between the fact that I work pretty much every hour of my life (and when I'm not working, I'm studying) and the fact that NYFW is getting worse every season...I don't know, it just doesn't excite me. Last night I watched the ODLR show live, just because I had nothing better to do and I was bored. I usually go crazy everytime there is a livestream and enjoy it as if I was right there sitting front row. I don't know if you have noticed, but NYFW is losing a lot of its appeal, while LFW is getting better and better every season. I'm obviously lucky to be in London at the moment, because its fashion week has never been so relevant.  And that loss shows also on the models doing shows. Usually, a model that was going to walk the most shows in a season walked 20 shows in NY. Now we have average seasons for models like Faretta who should be everywhere. The only model who is slay...

Fall/Winter 17.18: Beauty looks

My gif (Video source: Anna Sui's yt channel) Today, I'm doing one of my favourite posts about fashion week. I still remember when I first got into fashion (TEN YEARS AGO!) and I didn't really know about clothes, but I did know a bit about make-up. I just wanted to try every look I saw, and in a way I still feel that way looking at these pictures. UP :   -Prada: There were different looks on this show, one of them being super natural. But the one that really got my attention was this one with blue and black. Fun, messy, ....

-Rag&Bone: I like to point out how I liked things before they got mainstream. When it comes to Rag&Bone, I point it out often. It is one of the first "not so popular" brands I started to follow when I got into fashion. Now I feel like every blogger/youtuber owns something from the brand, which has made it more...well, mainstream. But these designers have been killing it for a while. They've always had that kind of urban style that's so trendy at the moment. However, I haven't been the biggest fan of their last 2 or 3 collections. But I'm always looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us. And this time, they didn't disappoint. Ahora...

As I did last season, I want to just show you a couple of beauty looks that I liked from NYFW. And while I do so, I can also tell you a bit about different beauty trends we've seen during the week. HAIR :   -Hervé Léger: Who doesn't love braids? WHO? I just love them, since they are so simple, yet they can completely change your look. This one is an example. It's a sleek hairdo, but it's also messy...it just works.  ¿A quién no le gustan las trenzas? ¿A quién? -Reem Acra: I love hair accessories, and that's nothing new. I also love scarfs, so when...
