Put on a Chic face

Busy times!! I wish I could just sit and write all the posts that I have in my mind, but it's just impossible. But I wanted to add something this week, after missing wednesday's post. And...I have a really cool lookbook and collection to show you!! ¡¡Qué ocupada ando!! Me encantaría poder sentarme a escribir todas las entradas que tengo en mente, pero me resulta imposible. Igualmente quería escribir algo esta semana, para compensar el haberme saltado el miércoles. Y...tengo un lookbook de una colección genial para enseñaros.

The word underrated (and its antonym) can have different meanings for different people. That's why, when I say that I consider Elsa to be an underrated model, many tell me that I'm wrong.  Yes, she is more famous than most and has many followers and is an Angel, ...but, she hasn't been given the same opportunities as other.  If you see which shows the VS Angels walk for during fashion week, you'll see that Elsa is usually on smaller shows, while Taylor or Romee walk for Versace and Chanel. And the same issue is present on her print work. Elsa is not a bad print model, at all. She actually has incredible editorials in her portfolio. But many just see her as a sexy VS angel, and assume she lacks versatility. So basically, she's underrated because the fashion professionals don't value her enough. This kind of seems to be the Victoria's Secret week, with me talking about three of their best angels. But I guess it makes sense in a way, since none of the angels has done much during fashion week, so they inspired me in other ways. Elsa is known for many things, and one is her style. She is not shy at all, and likes fashion a lot. She likes to experiment and wear things that many could not pull off. But she can because of her attitude. At the end of the day, it's all about the attitude, never forget that. Of course, this means that not everyone is going to like what she is wearing. And to be honest, that happens to me many times. I'll see her wearing something that looks amazing on her, but I won't like the outfit as a whole. Then this happened...the outfit of all outfits! When I think of VS, I imagine gorgeous women wearing wings on the runway and I guess most people feel the same way. Those women are bombshells, so naming one of their fragrances "Bombshell" was a great idea. Now that happens to be one of their best selling perfumes, and they have decided to create some sort of "sister" for it. The original "Bombshell" is a fruity floral scent, while this one is still floral but a bit different. Where the original fragrance was supposed to be more bold, this one is sexy but in a softer way. I find the whole idea behind the product very interesting. Candice used to be the face of the fragrance, and now Elsa Hosk is. Both are very sexy in a bold way, as opposed to Romee's softer beauty and sexiness. It shows they picked the right models for the campaign.
