Put on a Chic face

This season's must have, apparently, is a lip lacquer. Both Dior and Lancôme have created huge campaigns to advertise their version of it, and today I want to talk about those campaigns and what makes the product special. Let's start with Dior: El must de esta temporada es, al parecer, el lip lacquer. Taylor is, without a doubt, the most successful "New Angel". After the great exposure she got walking for VS (and becoming an angel a couple of months later), her career took off. And this is only the beginning. I can see her becoming the most successful model of her generation. I actually mentioned that recently, and someone told me that she still has room for improvement as a model, and I couldn't agree more. I've been following all her work for Lancôme and I do believe this shows how much she has improved in the past year. Her latest ad, which is the one I'm showing you today, is her best. By far. And being so young, she has plenty of time to keep on getting better. Lancôme put a lot of trust on her when they made her their youngest ambassadress. Now they know they made the right choice. Today is the day after the MET Gala. Ideally, I'll be doing a post about my favourite looks from the night. Ideally...in reality, I'm sitting at a cricket match loving life. But I will do said post for the weekend, so stay tuned for it. Today, I'm featuring on this blog post Lancôme and Taylor Hill. I feel like a broken record, but this is the ultimate dream team. I'm really into all the different campaigns and videos (mainly the videos) that Taylor is doing for the brand. It really makes me want to buy those products, and that's what she is supposed to do as a spokesperson so...well done, Tay Tay! The latest beauty launch is a mascara, which is one of my favourite make-up products. I love big eyelashes that make my eyes pop, and this one promises just that. "Monsieur Big", Mr. Big...Taylor's new love, and maybe mine too. Fun little thing that I want to add. Two of my obsessions are fashion and cricket, and sometimes they blend into one. ...

I have never been someone who has a massive make-up collection, but I usually was very aware of new releases. It didn't matter that I wasn't going to buy any of the products, I just knew about them. But lately I haven't been really into checking the new releases before they go on sale. However, when I saw these pictures on Lancôme's instagram I went all "oohhhhh, pretty!!", and I decided to take a good look at all the products. I've always loved using shades of blue on my eyes, since I think it compliments brown eyes beautifully and because it's my favourite colour. So I obviously fell in love with all these blue shades. Gorgeous! The packaging for the bronzer is also too pretty. I can't wait to see these products in a Lancôme counter. Today I have a "lazy, lazy, it doesn't really get more lazy" post. On the weekend, I was in another town and I went to a little shopping center and checked the cosmetics section. I usually don't do that in places like Selfridges, because it's overwhelming. But this time I did, taking advantage of the lack of people in the area. And I saw the new Lancôme adverts, featuring Taylor Hill. I am not a massive fan of how the first campaign looks, but I do love these little videos. By using Taylor, they're trying to appeal to a younger target, and she really is perfect for that. Is Taylor ready to conquer the fashion world? I think so... I said a few entrys ago that I wanted to talk to you about the perfumes I own and their campaigns, because these ads made me wondered how the scent of the perfume was and I finally get them. Without the campaign, who knows if I would have gone to try them. I'm also going to put the description of each perfume so you can see the way they smell, and I'll also write my personal opinion but, even though I loooove perfumes, I'm so bad at describing scents xD Dije hace un par de entradas que quería hablar de mis perfumes y sus campañas, porque esos anuncios me hicieron preguntarme como sería el perfume y al final me hice con ellos.
