10 years of fashion!!

Julie Hoomans, backstage at Coach A couple of months ago I realized what 2017 meant for me, fashion wise. It means it was 10 years ago when I started to get into fashion. And keeping in mind that I'm someone who gets bored of things quite easily, reaching this 10 year milestone is huge. The 2007 September issue of Spanish Vogue was my first ever Vogue...and definetely not the last. Vogue España 2007: Caroline Trentini by Regan Cameron Lanvin's SS 08 collection was the first one that wowed me, and it's because of that reason that I feel a special connection with the brand. ...

My gif (Video source: Givenchy's yt channel) The last couple of seasons, we've witnessed different kinds of comebacks. Gemma's is probably the one that we didn't see coming, and that made it special on its own. But there's a model who's always there. She doesn't do much runway anymore, because she doesn't need it. But she's always there, getting campaigns and covers. I'm talking about the iconic Mariacarla Boscono. I said all of that because she got quite a few campaigns and Vogue covers in the last months. However, we can't call it a comeback because, as I said, she never left. Let's just talk about 4 of the 5 campaigns she got (I won't be talking about Nars, but it deserves the mention). No hace mucha pasa...

Kendall, Joan, Gigi, Caroline, ...they've all had a good campaign season. Today I'm going to talk about 3 campaigns featuring these ladies. They have more, but I've already talked about some of them, and I plan on talking about the others. Let's do this. Dsquared2 Fall/Wintet 15.16: Caroline Trentini, Joan Smalls & Fei Fei Sun by Mert&Marcus I wasn't a fan of the collection, and I'm not a fan of the ad either. Most people love it, though. And, don't get me wrong, it's great to see some racial diversity, but that doesn't make the campaign good by default. Does it? But it isn't awful either so, let's give it 2.5 stars out of 5. I feel like rating campaigns today. No fu...

Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Etro, Blumarine, Chloé, Hugo Boss & Balenciaga

These campaigns take me back to 2008/2009...and I love it. I missed Anna J. (who also got CK's jewelry and watches campaign), and it's always nice to see campaigns with Sasha, Trentini or Cat on them. Etro Spring/Summer 2015: Anna Jagodzinska, Sasha Pivovarova & Marlon Teixeira by Mario Testino Lovely cast! But I dislike these Etro campaigns. They look bad because Testino is not the best photographer. But it's so nice to see Anna back in a major campaign. I miss her. ¡Gran cast! Blumarine Spring/Summer 2015: Catherine McNeil b...
