Mockingjay Part 1 premiere, London The final movie from the "Hunger Games" trilogy (there are 4 movies, though) is about to be released, and I thought it was a good time to talk about the star of the franchise. I'm planning on going to the London premiere. If any of you are going to be around as well, let me know. That's why I thought it would be interesting to analyze Jennifer's looks for the 3 previous premieres that took place in the UK. I thought she wore Dior for all those occasions, since she has a contract with the brand. Not only is she the face of their accessories ads, but she's also the face of their beauty campaign. I bet you've seen her Dior Addict ad everywhere. You know, #shinedontbeshy But, actually, she wore Ralph Lauren for the first premiere. I already talked about this campaign (  http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2014/04/dior-addict-ss-14-fluid-stick-perfume.html  ), and I said I'll show you the film once it was out. Well it's already out, and I'm afraid it's as disappointing as the print campaign. I have nothing against Alice in Wonderland, but this is Dior Addict. The word "addict" is pretty self-explanatory, isn't it? The original ads were amazing because they showed that passion, that addiction. They did it in a sexual way, and it doesn't always have to be like that, but it fits the concept of the campaign. Where is the addiction in this film? I don't know. Is she addicted to chasing rabbits? I love Sasha, and that whole "WonDiorland" thing is really cool. BUT it's not the right concept for this campaign. Sasha is one of my favourite models for several reasons. One of those reasons is her look. She's insanely pretty and looks terrific on the runway. She's also quite versatile. But the main reason is that she's been modelling for 7 years, and it was only a couple of seasons ago when she became a succesful HF model. I love how hard she worked, and I'm glad she didn't give up. She walked a Chanel Pre-fall show once, and she got a couple of eds on Vogue Russia, but it was Raf Simons who really helped her. She walked exclusively for Dior on Raf's first RTW show for the brand ( SS 13). After that, she got a Vogue cover and campaigns for Chanel, Valentino, Lanvin, etc... And now she got a couple of campaigns for Dior too. She really fits this new Dior Raf's created, and she's very pretty. So, it makes sense she booked a beauty campaign. I personally love the Dior Addict line, but I have to admit the campaigns nowadays are not as good as the original ones. ...
