Constance Jablonski by Raymond Meier : Sometimes I feel like beauty eds are always the same, and this one is not exception. Actually, it reminds to one that Frida Gustavsson did for Uk Vogue. But I love this one. Constance is completely gorgeous and perfect for beauty eds. They booked a perfect model for this kind of ed. Great job. A veces siento que los editos de belleza son todos iguales, y este no es una excepción. De hecho, me recuerda a uno de Frida Gustavsson para UK Vogue. Pero este me encanta. Constance es preciosa y perfecta para editos de belleza. Han elegido a la modelo perfecta para el tipo de trabajo que buscaban. Gran trabajo.

YSL has a new beauty collection called Babydoll. They had a perfume with this name before, and now a make-up collection. I like YSL make-up. I don't own a lot of things but I got the chance to try several products and I liked them. My favourite product has to be their "Shocking" mascara, which I highly recommend. So I would like to try this mascara as well. I don't know if we'll see more ads with more products, but, so far, we've only seen this mascara ad. But I want to talk about this ad and not about the quality of the products. The model they booked is Cara Delevingne, and I don't mean to be rude but, they can put her in ther RTW campaign because she's an it-girl and blah blah blah....but on a beauty campaign? Wrong. And the worst part of it is that they use her for a campaign called "Babydoll". Cara's look is boyish, not babydoll. Three other models have been doing YSL beauty ads lately, and they are Edita Vilkeviciute, Ginta Lap...

I've been looking for other beautiful covers to show you every month, that are not vogue covers. This month I had no doubts, my favourite ones were the 10 ones The Last Magazine released. My favourites are Nadja's, Constance's and Karmen's, but I also like the rest. I'm sad that I've only seen Natasha's, Joan's and Liu's here in Munich, because I would have love to buy one of my 3 favourites. A new colaboration between Diet Coke and a fashion designer is here, and I can't love it more. It was shot by Stephane Sednaoui and in the pictures we can see Marc Jacobs, who designed the bottles, and Ginta Lapina. Ginta is my favourite model, so I love to see her doing something like that. The campaign is fresh, playful, funny. I really like it and I think Ginta really fits in this idea. The limited edition cans are available this month in Europe, and I don't know if they would be available in other places. This is my last entry about SS 13 campaigns. I know I dind't talk about every single one, but that's quite difficult and I have a job so, I don't have time. I pickep up some that I liked and some that I disliked, because I didn't want to be negative or positive, but both. And I tried to talk about the major ones because...well, they are major ;) But today I want to talk about more commercial campaigns. I already said my opinion about Mango, and here you have my thoughts about H&M, Zara and Blanco. Esta es mi última entrada sobre campañas de PV 13. Jill Stuart Beauty Spring 2013 : Daphne Groeneveld & Dior Addict Gloss S/S 2013 : Daphne Groeneveld. I don't want to look like I'm just hating but, I don't get why a model like Daphne can book beauty campaigns. Miu Miu campaigns? ok. Cavalli campaigns? ok. But, beauty campaigns? I know that designers want to have the "girl of the moment" but they have to remember that the beauty section of their brand is something commercial, not HF. Classic beautys is what you need for a beauty campaigns. It's obvious that 80% of the people who buy make-up products don't care about fashion or about how good a model is in front of the camera. They just want to see a beautiful girl (or a celebritie) wearing those products, so they can imagine themselves being as pretty. It's as simple as that. So, I think both brands didn't choose the right model. No quiero que parezca que solo estoy lanzando odio pero, no entiendo como una modelo como Daphne puede ll...

Now that fashion weeks are over, I want to finish what I started. So I'm going to do 3 more entrys about SS 13 campaigns. Ahora que las semanas de la moda han terminados, quiero terminar lo que comencé. Así que voy a hacer 3 entradas más sobre las campañas de PV 13. Bottega Veneta S/S 2013:  Baptiste Radufe & Freja Beha Erichsen by Peter Lindbergh. Is Freja back? That's the big question here. Most fashion lovers yelled "Frejaaa!" when they saw the campaign. Personally, I didn't expect to see her back so soon. But at the same time, it was a very nice surprise. Freja is an special model. She has that laid-back and boyish look, but she's also a great performer and she can play many roles. Using her just as the rock girl is a waste of her talent. She has shown us before how versatile she can be. We just have to take a look at her campaigns for Chanel, at her first Italian Vogue cover, at her "Valentina by Valentino" ads, or at this BV camp...
