Burberry fragances: "Body" (Rosie H-W) vs "Body eau tendre" (Cara Delevingne).
Yet another "vs" entry. I quite enjoy doing them.
Now I want to talk to you about these Burberry ads.
I think both are good if you think about the cast, but only because both Cara and Rosie are very popular it-girls. Burberry people know that and they are smart enough to hire them.
But the problem I see on Cara's ad is that this fragance was made for models like Rosie. It's called "Body" for a reason. And Rosie is known for her body, so she fits the concept. She wears one of those iconic Burberry trenchs, which allows her to show her body without being completely naked. I find that sexy and not tacky.
However, they wanted to do a softer version too. Probably focusing on a younger target. And they use Cara to be the face of this "tendre" fragance.
She also wears a trench, but there's nothing sexy on the pictures. Actually, there's too much pink.
And the main reason why there's nothing sexy about it, is because Cara is not sexy. I'm fine with her booking fragance campaigns, because it suits her, but not one called "Body". That kind of campaign is meant for models like Rosie, whose body people want to see.
And, I'm not even going to talk about the photoshop because, my God, they made them look pretty bad.
On a brighter note, I love this perfume. I haven't tried this new "tendre" version, but the original one smells really good. It's on my wishlist.
- Burberry "Body": Rosie HW.
- Burberry "Body eau tendre": Cara Delevingne.

Otra entrada sobre “vs”. Me gusta hacerlas.
bien. Está en mi wishlist.
