Vogue covers (April 2013)

I'm always a bit worried about april covers, as well as october covers, since they come after the two big issues, and I always feel like they used all their budget on those issues, and they are not going to have enough money to deliver two good issues in a row. But there was an exception to this rule, and that was Vogue Spain.
When I knew Candice was on the cover, I was expecting a really bad cover, but I was wrong. She looks good because that's not the Candice we know. She's relaxed, she has a beautiful top on (I'm in love with this kind o tops), and the cover is just nice. Then, if you look at her editorial, you can see we have the same Candice again. Sexy, boring, sexy. But the good thing is that Vogue Spain picked the best picture and they made it the cover, which is something that they're not really good at.
And, I don't want to talk about Vogue Paris, because I would only say really bad things and I'm not on the mood.

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon April 2018: Wrap up!

The readathon is over! And it honestly was a lot of fun. I hadn't been reading too much lately, and it was great to be able to dedicate one day to just that.  Now let me tell you about the 546 pages I read. El maratón de lectura ha terminado. Y la verdad que lo disfruté mucho. Últimamente no había tenido tiempo para leer, y me encantó poder dedicar un día a hacer solo eso. Ahora dejadme que os cuente que me parecen las 546 páginas que leí.   -"We should all be feminists" & "Dear Ijeawele, A feminist manifesto in fifteen suggestions", by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I gave 5 stars to both of these books. It was the first two I read, and I completely loved them.  I liked "We should all be feminists" a bit less, since it was more of general message. It made me think a lot, but I find "Dear Ijeawele..." to be more of my kind of message. As a feminist, I enjoyed both, but I found one more complete than the other. Highly rec...
