#tbt: Jessica Miller for Vogue Paris June/July 2002

I knew very little about Jessica Miller. I knew she was a model, drop dead gorgeous and married to one Metallica guy. That last bit didn't really mean much, since (despite being a metal head) I never really liked Metallica.

But what I did know was that I obviously missed her best years in the industry.

A couple of weeks ago I saw this cover for the first time ever and I couldn't stop staring at it. And that's when I thought that many of you may not have seen it either, which is a shame.

It really is old school. Back when photographers were not afraid of experimenting and when editorials told a story. You may just see a girl jumping around a field, but she's Alice. She's a bunny, she's wild and beautiful, and misterious. Seeing all these images together is so inspiring.

It makes me wonder how many gorgeous covers I have missed...

Sabía muy poco sobre Jessica Miller. Sabía que era una modelo, que era preciosa y que estaba casada con uno de los de Metallica. Ese último detalle tampoco aportaba mucho ya que, pese a ser una metal head, nunca me ha gustado Metallica. 

Pero si que sabía que me había perdido sus mejores años en la industria.

Hace unas semanas descubrí esta portada y no podía parar de mirarla. Y fue entonces cuando pensé que seguramente muchos de vosotros tampoco sabíais que existía esta portada, lo cual es una pena.

Es muy old school. Pertenece a aquel tiempo en que los fotógrafos no temían experimentar y en el que los editoriales contaban una historia. Puede que solo veáis a una chica dando saltitos por el campo, pero es Alicia. Es un conejo, es salvaje y bella, y misteriosa. Ver todas estas imágenes juntas me inspira muchísimo.

Me hace pensar en cuantas portadas igual de bonitas me he perdido...
