When fashion met cricket

I have been asked to do a post about the hottest cricketers that I know and, as much as I would love to do a list, I don't really think I should do that. It feels like the kind of thing that I will enjoy doing, but that will also come back to bite me in the ass. Very unprofessional.
Also, I've heard the sentence "so, which one is your boyfriend?" way too many times. And it kind of feels like telling them they are right. No, I don't go to the matches because I find the players attractive. And yes, there are many players that I find attractive, because I'm a human being and I have eyes. But believe me when I tell you I'm not going to spend 7 hours sitting at a match just because the players are cute. That's too much, even for me.
I'm posting this right before going to spend another 7 hours at a match today. How exciting!
However, that request made me think about doing a post about cricket and fashion. Because let me tell you that my dear players love posing. I spend 7 hours looking at them, and I can see they like being looked at. No, they don't like it, they love it. Some more than others, though. My favourite player won't make it in this post because he's probably as humble about his looks as he is about his talent. You can google Chris Woakes to see what I'm talking about. But try not to fall in love with his personality.
And that love for posing leads to beautiful advertisements that they do for all their different sponsors. But they also pose for magazines and even dare creating a fashion line. My cricket boys are fancy boys.
I obviously know the England players better than the others, but I tried to feature as many countries in here as possible. They all have their "models", and they all have players with an embarrasing photo or video that they wish it didn't exist. So stay with me until the very end of the post to see that.
"Why do you like cricket?", they say. What's not to like? 😏😏

Y podría pasarme el día poniendo más jugadores. De hecho, podría poner al 80% del equipo de Inglaterra, pero quiero ser objetiva ;)
Me han pedido que haga una entrada con los jugadores de cricket más guapos que conozco, y pese a que me encantaría hacer una lista, no creo que sea la mejor idea. Tengo la sensación de que es algo que disfrutaría mientras lo hago, pero que en el futuro puede volver y morderme en mi querido melocotón. Poco profesional.
Además, he oído la frase "y, ¿cuál es tu novio?" demasiadas veces ya. Y es como que les daría la razón. Y no, no veo los partidos porque me parezcan atractivos los jugadores. Pero si, hay muchos que me parecen atractivos porque soy humana y tengo ojos.
Pero creedme cuando os digo que no me paso 7 horas sentada en un partido solo por lo monos que son los jugadores. Eso ya sería demasiado, incluso para mi.
Esto lo publico antes de irme a pasar otras 7 horas en otro partido. ¡Qué emoción!
Sin embargo, esa petición me hizo pensar en hacer una entrada que combinase cricket y moda. Porque dejadme que os diga que a mis queridos jugadores les encantan las poses. Me paso 7 horas mirándoles y se ve claramente que les gusta que les miren. No, no les gusta, les encanta. A algunos más que a otros, claro. Mi jugador favorito no es parte de esta entrada, porque debe ser tan humilde en cuanto a su aspecto como lo es en cuanto a su talento. Podéis googelear Chris Woakes y me entenderéis. Pero intentad no enamoraros de su personalidad.
Y todo esto deriva en las maravillosas campañas que hacen para sus sponsors. Pero también posan para revistas o crean su propia línea de ropa. Valen para todo mis chicos.
Obviamente conozco a los ingleses mejor que al resto, pero intentaré poner a jugadores de varios países. Todos tienen "modelos", y todos tienen jugadores con alguna foto o vídeo del que se arrepienten. Id hasta el final para ver a lo que me refiero.
"¿Por qué te gusta el cricket?", me preguntan. ¿Cómo no me va a gustar? 😏😏
