#tbt: The Edit by Net-a-Porter January 2017: Kirin D. by Raf Stahelin

Kirin is the kind of model you see everywhere, but you don't really see her. She ends up being a runway filler and once casting directors find a new filler, she is likely to fade and disappear. It kind of is happening already.

But I do like her look. And I think it is a shame she is not getting more print work to show whether she is good enough or not. 

And while checking her work, I managed to find this lovely editorial she did for The Edit. It features some gorgeous Alaïa dresses from his SS 17 collection, and I adore the way she is modelling them.

Let's hope she doesn't fade completely before we get to see her full potential.

"The Icon: Alaïa"

Kirin es el tipo de modelo que vemos en todas partes, pero a la vez no la vemos de verdad. Acaba siendo una filler en pasarela (de relleno) y una vez que los directores de casting encuentran a otra filler, lo más seguro es que empiece a desaparecer poco a poco, hasta que no la veamos más.

Pero a mi si que me gusta su look. Y creo que es una pena que no consiga más trabajo de fotografía donde demostrarnos si es lo suficientemente talentosa o no.

Y, mientras miraba todo su trabajo, encontré este editorial tan bonito que hizo para The Edit. En el vemos unos vestidos de Alaïa increíbles, pertenecientes a su colección PV 17. Y yo personalmente adoro como los está modelando aquí.

Esperemos que no desaparezca por completo antes de que veamos todo su potencial.
