#tbt: Taylor Hill for Alexandre Vauthier S/S 2017


For today's throwback, I've got two favourites working together: Taylor Hill and Alexandre Vauthier.
I hate to admit that his last two collections for HC have been slightly disappointing, since they were a bit too over the top for my taste. What I always liked from Vauthier was how good he was at making effortlessly sexy clothes.

He normally makes a show for the big HC collections, but just releases a lookbook to present us the RTW collections. 
One of my favourites has to be the one for the S/S 2017 season, featuring Taylor Hill. On it we can see the effortless sexiness I already mentioned. It's very chic too, but more tamed that the HC collections, of course. And Taylor wears the clothes beautifully. Every single picture inspires me.

Para el throwback de hoy he juntado a dos favoritos: Taylor Hill y Alexandre Vauthier. 
Odio admitir que sus dos últimas colecciones de Alta Costura me han decepcionado ligeramente, porque estaban pasando demasiadas cosas a la vez en ellas. Lo que siempre aprecié de Vauthier era lo bien que se le daba crear ropa sexy, pero con una cierta naturalidad que la hacía tan ponible.

Suele hacer desfiles para las colecciones de Costura, pero solo publica un lookbook en que nos presenta las colecciones de PAP.
Uno de mis favoritos tiene que ser el de la PV 2017, en el que sale Taylor Hill. En el podemos ver ese toque sexy pero natural que ya os he mencionado. Es muy chic también, y más simple que la Costura, por supuesto. Y Taylor luce cada prenda de una manera maravillosa. No hay foto en este lookbook que no me inspire.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
