I feel like this is a continuation of the last post. Because this issue made me fangirl like I haven't in a while. I started to look for this 3 months ago, but couldn't find it anywhere. I even e-mailed the people from the magazine, who were insanely nice to me. They let me know every single place in London where I could find the magazine, but they also let me know I may not be able to find this cover. It really was a a struggle. But, a week ago, I finally got it. It was unbelievable. And heavy...I carried the magazine everywhere I went for like 5 hours and it was like a workout. This was my first time reading this magazine and I'm really surprised by its content. It's a more independent magazine and it features many artists that I really didn't know about. Hello, my name is Ana and I'm a fangirl. It's turning into a problem, really. This campaign made me fangirl over the fact that Vanessa is back on a Prada campaign. I still don't get her career but...this is pretty cool. There are many things I like about this campaign. First, the mood. The collection was quite strong and slightly overwhelming. I didn't expect these images to have so much light and be so "clean". But I love that. This ad focuses the attention on the bags, which I quite like. You can see the product really well, but it's not too in your face. The last thing I like it the casting. I feel like every model has a story. Vanessa and Sasha are two of the ultimate Prada girls. Lorena opened the last show as an exclusive. Fei Fei has always been a Meisel favourite. And Vittoria is finally getting some recognition and proving that hard work pays off.  All in all, it's a great campaign. And it allows me to keep on fangirling. Love t...

When I saw this picture of Bella surrounded by Dior bags I thought: Oh well, let's wait until they make it official and say that she's signed a contract with them.  I didn't have to wait long, did I? Last week, she was named Dior's newest beauty ambassador. Do I like this? Hell no! First of all, I get that they signed her as a celebritie rather than as a model. I get that, and it's fine. But having Jennifer Lawrence as part of the Dior family, it just seems stupid. Are they trying to find a cheaper version of Jennifer? It looks like it. Some people called it a desperate move too. And I kind of agree with that. After Raf's goodbye, the brand has changed quite a lot. They seem to try to compensate the fact that they don't really have a designer by casting girls like Kendall and Bella for their shows. You could call that desperate, yeah. Two years ago I posted here a football inspired editorial, right before the World Cup. I also told you I was rooting for Germany and they ended up winning. Coincidence? I don't think so ;) Though, to be honest with you, many things have changed in those 2 years. On Friday, instead of staying home desperate for the first match of the Euro, I'll be watching a cricket match. So yeah, priorities have changed. But I'm still rooting for Germany. And, everyone around me tells me I have to root for England to, so...I guess I kind of will do that.  But, isn't it enough to know that I support England on every cricket match they play? This is the kind of post that I write because I need to. I was going to wait to show you this ed, but after seeing Julie last Thursday, I need to do it now. She's one of those models who looks even prettier in person. And, like I said a couple of weeks ago (when I showed you her Vogue China ed), she keeps improving as a model. This is a pretty cool issue, actually. It's called "The Art Issue" and it has 3 beautiful covers. But I personally like Julie's cover better than Lorena's and Daria's. Her ed is also so much cooler. I love the colours and the way they played with the lights. And Julie is giving us some strong poses to complete the whole thing. Lovely job from a lovely young lady. Sometimes, I get nostalgic. I look at my old magazines (from 2007/2008) to see the campaigns and editorials released during those seasons. Everytime I do that, I discover something new. It's fascinating. When I discover a new model, I like to check everything that model did before I noticed her. This editorial came up many times during those "research moments". It features 38 models so...it's easy to see why. Anyway, this was Karlie's second cover for Vogue Italia. If I remember correctly, she's been on their cover 5 times. All of them shot by Meisel. And this one is probably my favourite. It didn't impress me when it came out, but I wasn't into Karlie's career back then. However, I love it now. The editorial is called "Runway", and it's full of pictures of fake runway shows and backstage shots. It's great, really. And the cover is hilarious! US Vogue June 2016: Margot Robbie by Mert&Marcus She's pretty, I can't deny that. But this picture is very average. There are better photos on the editorial, which is really nice, actually. Must be because of Alexander Skarsgard, though. He should have been on the cover too. E s guapa, no seré yo quien lo niege. Pero esta foto es muy normalita.
