Haute Couture Fall Winter 2015/2016: Review #1

Couture Couture!! Very excited about it, but I'm also excited about Wimbledon's Manic Monday. 24 hours are not enough for all the things I want to do. Oh well, ...let's just talk about fashion shows ;)

¡Costura! ¡Costura! Emocionada por ello, pero también estoy emocionada por el Manic Monday de Wimbledon. En serio, las 24 horas del día no son suficientes para todo lo que quiero hacer. Pero bueno, ...hablemos de desfiles ;)

  -Atelier Versace:

What can I say about this show? First, that it was unexpected. And second, that it doesn't look like Versace.

It's like a boho Versace / Versace meets Alberta Ferretti, Anna Sui and Nina Ricci, which is confusing.

Do not get me wrong, because I don't mean that these clothes are ugly. Some outfits are quite nice, actually. But this doesn't look like a Versace collection. It's good that they tried something different, but it's not good different.

The black outfits are my faves, and I think they are the ones that you can easily recognize as Versace dresses.

The hair and make-up is too Valentino, which means it's nice. But I expected something different from this brand.

Bittersweet show.

¿Qué puedo decir sobre este desfile? Primero, que ha sido inesperado. Y segundo, que no parece Versace.

Es un boho Versace / Versace meets Alberta Ferretti, Anna Sui y Nina Ricci, lo cual me confunde.

No me entendáis mal, porque eso no significa que la ropa sea fea. Algunos pases son bonitos. Pero no parece una colección de Versace. Es de agradecer que intenten hacer cosas diferentes, pero esto no es un diferente bueno.

Los pases negros son mis favoritos, y creo que son los que podemos reconocer de inmediato como vestidos de Versace.

El pelo y el maquillaje son muy Valentino, lo cual significa que es bonito. Pero esperaba algo diferente de esta marca.

Desfile agridulce.

  -Christian Dior:

As usual, I may be the only one who enjoyed this show. But it was amazing, really.

I didn't know what to expect after the last two seasons, because Raf changed the style of his collections and went for an edgier look. I did like those shows, but they were definetely something unexpected.

Now, Raf changed again to something that I like better. But of course, that's just a personal opinion.

The first outfits are stunning. They're so soft and delicate, but not boring at all. 

Then we got some colour, which was introduced brilliantly. And the coats were the perfect final touch to the collection. I love how the models where holding the clothes, since it was similar to what they did for Raf's last collection for Jil Sander.

But my favourite part was how sexy the collection was. Because it really was sexy. Sexy and classsy, my favourite combo.

Well done, Raf!

Como casi siempre, puede que sea la única que ha disfrutado con este desfile. Pero es que fue genial.

No sabía que esperar después de las dos últimas temporadas, ya que Raf cambió el estilo de sus colecciones e intentó hacer algo más moderno. Me gustaron esos desfiles, pero sin duda pensé que eran algo inesperado.

Ahora, Raf ha cambiado de nuevo y ha hecho algo que a mi me gusta mucho más. Pero está claro que eso es solo una opinión personal.

Los primeros pases son preciosos. Son tan suaves y delicados, pero para nada aburridos.

Luego vimos algo de color, que fue introducido de una manera brillante. Y los abrigos fueron el toque final perfecto para la colección. Me encantó ver como las modelos sujetaban la ropa, ya que es similar a lo que hicieron en la última colección de Raf para Jil Sander.

Pero mi parte favorita fue lo sexy que es la colección. Porque es realmente sexy. Sexy y con clase, mi combinación favorita.

¡Bien hecho, Raf!

  -Ralph & Russo:

I don't think I've ever talk about this brand, but I feel like I should.

I always love when models and celebs wear their desings on the red carpet. 

Everything is just elegant and beautiful. Don't you agree?

Creo que nunca he hablado de esta marca, y siento que debería hacerlo.

Siempre me encanta ver a modelos y celebrities llevando sus diseños en la alfombra roja.

Todo es tan elegante y bonito. ¿No os parece?

  -Giambattista Valli:

I'm a big Valli fan, but I think the last couple of collections were slightly boring.

I kind of miss the nice pop of colour they used to introduce on every collection. And, even though I think it's still nice, I kind of feel like it's not good enough.

Soy una gran fan de Valli, pero creo que sus últimas colecciones han sido algo aburridas.

Echo de menos el toque de color que solían introducir en cada colección. Y, pese a pensar que sigue siendo todo bonito, siento que no es suficiente.
