Nadja Bender, Vogue Spain July 2015


Nadja is one of my favourite models, and that makes me slightly biased. But this ed is truly amazing. 

She is usually hired for sexy editorials, since she has a great body and seems to be really comfortable posing nude.
However, even if I enjoy these eds, I love it when she gets to do something different.
I already talked about this issue's cover, but I have to add that Nadja should have been on the cover. The close-ups would have made a beautiful cover. I'm sure.

I love it when she works with Hasse. Dream team!

Nadja es una de mis modelos favoritas, y eso me hace ser ligeramente parcial. Pero es que este edito es precioso.

Suele ser contratada para editoriales sexies, ya que tiene un gran cuerpo y se siente cómoda posando desnuda.
Sin embargo, pese a que me gusten esos editos, me encanta cuando hace cosas diferentes.
Ya os hablé de la portada de este número, pero tengo que añadir que es Nadja la que debería haber estado en portada. Los primeros planos habrían hecho una portada preciosa. Estoy segura.

Me encanta cuando trabaja con Hasse. ¡Dream team!

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon April 2018: Wrap up!

The readathon is over! And it honestly was a lot of fun. I hadn't been reading too much lately, and it was great to be able to dedicate one day to just that.  Now let me tell you about the 546 pages I read. El maratón de lectura ha terminado. Y la verdad que lo disfruté mucho. Últimamente no había tenido tiempo para leer, y me encantó poder dedicar un día a hacer solo eso. Ahora dejadme que os cuente que me parecen las 546 páginas que leí.   -"We should all be feminists" & "Dear Ijeawele, A feminist manifesto in fifteen suggestions", by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I gave 5 stars to both of these books. It was the first two I read, and I completely loved them.  I liked "We should all be feminists" a bit less, since it was more of general message. It made me think a lot, but I find "Dear Ijeawele..." to be more of my kind of message. As a feminist, I enjoyed both, but I found one more complete than the other. Highly rec...
