This cover makes me happy. You know I love Vanessa, so I love to see her scoring covers. This is a nice one.

Esta portada me hace feliz. Ya sabéis que adoro a Vanessa, así que me encanta verla conseguir portadas. Esta es muy buena.

Vogue Korea December 2014: Sasha Pivovarova by Jason Kibbler

This cover won't work with another model on it. This is Sasha's classic pose. I've seen it a hundred times already, but it's cute.

Esta portada no funcionaría con otra modelo en ella. Esta es la pose típica de Sasha. La he visto 100 veces, pero es cuqui.

Vogue México December 2014: Issa Lish by Alexei Hay

Issa is one of those models I consider ugly. I don't get why she models, and I think this cover is ugly as well.

Issa es una de esas modelos a las que considero feas. No entiendo porque modela, y creo que esta portada es fea.

US Vogue December 2014: Amy Adams by Annie Leibovitz

This Amy is kind of pretty. I like it when she wears Valentino, because she fits their collections. The cover is not that bad, but it's not spectacular.

Esta tal Amy es bastante mona. Me gusta cuando lleva cosas de Valentino porque su imagen pega con las colecciones que hacen. La portada no está mal, pero tampoco es espectacular.

Vogue Australia December 2014: Gemma Ward by Emma Summerton

Gemma is back! I can't stop saying it.

This cover is quite disappointing, though. The idea of the photoshoot is kind of weird, but Gemma looks great.

¡Gemma ha vuelto! No me canso de decirlo.

Pero esta portada es algo decepcionante. La idea es algo rara, pero Gemma está divina.

Vogue Germany December 2014: Kati Nescher by Giampaolo Sgura

German Vogue's people love Kati, don't they? I wish they loved Anna E. too.

This cover is ok. I don't like her facial expression. But I like the colours.

La gente de Vogue Alemania adora a Kati, ¿verdad? Ojalá adorasen a Anna E. también.

La portada está bien. No me gusta la expresión de su cara, pero me gustan los colores.

Vogue Portugal December 2014: Barbara Palvin by Marcin Tyszka

I like it when Vogue Portugal creates its own content. I know they don't have a huge budget, but that's ok. They don't have to put the biggest models on their covers each month, but creating their own covers and editorial makes them look like a more serious magazine.

Me gusta cuando Vogue Portugal crea su propio contenido. Se que no tienen un gran presupuesto, pero no pasa nada. No tienen que poner a las mejores modelos del mundo cada mes. Pero, crear sus propias portadas y editoriales les hace parecer una revista más seria. 

Vogue Italia December 2014: Valerija Kelava & Jamie Bochert by Steven Meisel

As you can tell by looking at the rest of the covers in this post, December covers haven't been particularly festive. There's no red or green, and you can't tell they came out during a festive month. I like that, because I'm the Grinch. But this? This doesn't even look like a fashion magazine. It looks like a travel supplement.


Como podéis ver al mirar el resto de portadas de esta entrada, las portadas de diciembre no han sido muy festivas. No hay rojo o verde, y no podéis deducir que salen en un mes festivo al mirarlas. Me parece bien, porque soy el Grinch. Pero, ¿y esto? Ni parece una portada de moda. Antes diría que es un suplemento de viajes.
