FW 13.14 campaigns: Giorgio Armani & Christian Dior

Giorgio Armani: Mariacarla Boscono & Florian van Bael by Mert & Marcus.


Queen Mariacarla is back. This is one of the best GA campaigns ever.
It shows how luxurious the brand is, it also shows that italian power both GA and Mariacarla have. So beautiful.












La reina Mariacarla ha vuelto. Una de las mejores campañas que GA ha tenido.
Muestra lo lujoso de la marca, y el poder italiano que tienen GA y Mariacarla. Preciosa.



Christian Dior: Elise Crombez, Mariacarla Boscono, Iselin Steiro & Daria Strokous by Willy Vanderperre.


What a cast! If you hire Elise and MCB you know that's going to be perfect. I'm not a big fan of Iselin's and Daria's shots, but they're good too.
And this is why I said Mariacarla is the queen. She got Armani (OG), Ferretti (OG), Givenchy beauty (OG) and Dior MG but, being part of such an iconic cast it's as good as doing the other three campaigns as OG.
I don't care about Edie and all her boring campaigns, or about Cara...Mariacarla got amazing campaigns, she looks stunning everywhere, and she shows she can be THE Givenchy woman, but also can she have a terrific season without booking Givenchy.







¡Menudo casting! Si contratas a Elise y MCB sabes que va a ser perfecto. No soy una gran fan de las fotos de Iselin y Daria, pero están bien también.
Y es por eso que digo que Mariacarla es la reina. Se lleva Armani (OG), Ferreti (OG), Givenchy beauty (OG) y Dior MG pero, ser parte de un casting tan icónico compensa. No me importa Edie y sus campañas aburridas, o Cara...Mariacarla tiene unas campañazas, esta perfecta en todos lados, y muestra que puede ser LA mujer Givenchy, pero también tener una temporada increíble sin llevarse Givenchy.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon April 2018: Wrap up!

The readathon is over! And it honestly was a lot of fun. I hadn't been reading too much lately, and it was great to be able to dedicate one day to just that.  Now let me tell you about the 546 pages I read. El maratón de lectura ha terminado. Y la verdad que lo disfruté mucho. Últimamente no había tenido tiempo para leer, y me encantó poder dedicar un día a hacer solo eso. Ahora dejadme que os cuente que me parecen las 546 páginas que leí.   -"We should all be feminists" & "Dear Ijeawele, A feminist manifesto in fifteen suggestions", by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I gave 5 stars to both of these books. It was the first two I read, and I completely loved them.  I liked "We should all be feminists" a bit less, since it was more of general message. It made me think a lot, but I find "Dear Ijeawele..." to be more of my kind of message. As a feminist, I enjoyed both, but I found one more complete than the other. Highly rec...
