Meet Camille Hurel: New face from France

I'm trying to remember when I discovered Camille, and failing miserably. I know it was during the summer, but when? And why? And how? I may never remember...

Camille is a former "Elite Model Look" contestant, who debuted at the FW 15.16 Givenchy show. That's a pretty good start, and this season she has definetely been one of the stars on the runway.
I see a bit of Sigrid on her, and even a bit of Blanca. And she really fascinates me.
Let's see how her season went..


Estoy intentando recordar como descubrí a Camille, y fracasando. Se que fue durante el verano pero, ¿cuándo? ¿cómo? ¿por qué? Puede que nunca lo recuerde...

 Camille fue concursante del "Elite Model Look" y debutó en la pasarela en el desfile OI 15.16 de Givenchy. No es mal comienzo, y esta temporada ha sido sin duda una de las estrellas pasareliles. Al mirarla veo un poco de Sigrid, e incluso un poco de Blanca. Fascinante.
Repasemos como fue su temporada...

NYFW: 15 shows

Was there a major show that she didn't walk? Marc Jacobs, maybe. Or Coach. But she really killed it in NY.

¿Hubo algún desfile grande que se perdiera? Marc Jacobs, quizás. O Coach. Pero por lo demás, arrasó.


LFW: 4 shows

London was more of the same. With the exception of a couple of Ashley shows, she showed up where it mattered.

Burberry

Londres fue más de lo mismo. Con la excepción de un par de desfiles de Ashley, apareción donde tenía que aparecer. 


MFW: 10 shows

Milan treated her well, which isn't really surprising since her beauty fits every single show.

Milán la trató bien, lo cual no es sorpresa ya que su belleza encaja en todos los desfiles.


PFW: 23 shows

Paris was the cherry on top. She walked every major show, from Dior to Miu Miu, with some mega cool shows in between (Marant, Chanel, Loewe, Lanvin, Mugler, Givenchy, Valentino, ...).

París fue la guinda del pastel. Desfiló para todos los diseñadores importantes, desde Dior hasta Miu Miu, con algún que otro mega desfile en medio (Marant, Loewe, Lanvin, Mugler, Givenchy, Valentino, ...)


When it comes to editorials and campaigns, we still haven't seen enough to judge her. I look forward to seeing how she photographs.
She can be elegant, sweet, sexy, ...we'll see how her career goes. What do you guys think of Camille?


En cuanto a editos y campañas, no hemos visto suficiente como para juzgar. Tengo ganas de ver como se desarrolla en ese sentido.
Puede ser elegante, dulce, sexy, ...veremos como continua su carrera. ¿Qué pensáis vosotros de Camille?

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
