Vogue Italia September '16: Lulu by Steven Meisel

Título alternativo: ¿Quién es Lulu?


September issues...always exciting, right? Not lately, but there's always one that make us go "woooow". This time, that happened when we saw all four covers of Italian Vogue.

Bella got one of those, Frederikke and Kiki the other two, but...who got the 4th? Lulu did.
And that's when we got all "Who is Lulu?". There was no info about her, which made it even more fascinating. It felt so old-school. I still remember the feeling of finding about a new model and waiting to see more of her because there were only a couple of photos available. 
That was before instagram. It was lovely having that kind of feeling again.

A month later, I still don't really know who Lulu is but I know that lovely smile captivated many of us. It was love at first sight, fashion edition.



Números de septiembre...siempre emocionantes, ¿verdad? Pues no últimamente, pero siempre hay al menos uno que lo salva todo. Esta vez pasó con las 4 portadas de Vogue Italia.

Bella se llevó una, Frederikke y Kiki otras dos, pero...¿quién se llevó la 4ª? Pues Lulu.
Y ahí es cuando la mayoría pusimos cara de "¿Y quién es Lulu?". No había información sobre ella, lo cual hacía que todo fuese más fascinante. Aún recuerdo cuando veíamos a una nueva modelo y teníamos que esperar semanas para saber más sobre ella. Eso fue antes de instagram, y me encantó volver a tener esa sensación.

Un mes más tarde sigo sin saber quien es Lulu, pero si que se que esa sonrisa cautivó a muchos. Amor a primera vista, edición modil.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason.
