US Harper's Bazaar September 2014: Natasha Poly by Daniel Jackson

I already talked about Natasha last week but, what can I say? She's on fire. She's looking better than ever, and she's nailing every photoshoot she does.

I really love this one for Harper's Bazaar. You know me, I love minimalistic things. And this ed is really minimalistic, in the best way possible. I love the styling and Natasha's poses. It's all very simple and clean.

In this issues, magazines try to show us the new collections and the new trends. This is a great way to do that. We can see the clothes really well, and they picked a model that makes every outfit look 10 times better than it is.











Ya hablé de Natasha la semana pasada pero, ¿qué queréis? Está de racha. Está más guapa que nunca, y cada sesión que hace es un éxito.

 Me encanta esta para Harper's Bazaar. Ya me conocéis, y sabéis que me encantan las cosas minimalistas. Y este edito es muy minimalista, en el mejor sentido de la palabra. Me encanta el estilismo y las poses de Natasha. Muy simple y limpio.

 En estos números las revistan tratan de enseñarnos las nuevas colecciones y las nuevas tendencias. Esta es una gran manera de hacerlo. Podemos ver la ropa muy bien, y han elegido a una modelo que hace que cada prenda parezca mucho más bonita de lo que es.

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. Blanca Padilla for US Elle May 2018

When you follow a model for years, many things happen. One of them is the fact that she's likely to improve as a model, so your favourite picture of her may change often.  I honestly don't know whether I have a favourite picture of Blanca or not, but I probably do. Well, now I definetely do, but it's a new one. On this editorial for the American edition of Elle, Blanca has created what I call an almost perfect picture. Blanca and the entire team, of course. From the hair, to the make-up, to the styling, to the photography, ...everything works.  Hans has a very recognizable style, and it is one that I love. Her picture wearing the yellow Marc Jacobs jumper is so iconic. Just look at every detail and try to find a flaw...I dare you! The rest of the editorial is good as well, but that picture...that picture is my new favourite picture of her. And I doubt it'll be overtaken by another one anytime soon.
