Spring/Summer 2016 campaigns: Chanel & Fendi

Chanel & Fendi, Fendi & Chanel... so similar, yet so different. You guys know I like Fendi better. But when it comes to these ads, I'm not sure which one is my favourite.

I like Fendi's collection better, but I like the location used for Chanel's ad more. Casting wise...well, Edie opened both Chanel and Fendi, so it was easy to guess she'll be in one of the campaigns. I quite like her for this kind of ad, since her look goes well with the clothes and the background. However, Vanessa is a big fat no.

Then we have Mica and Lineisy. After being a Prada exclusive, every brand wanted to hire Lineisy for their show. So it's no surprise to see her booking major campaigns like Chanel and Givenchy. Mica, however...I just don't get her look. She looks awful on the runway, and has 0 versatility in front of the camera. It's quite annoying, actually.

But there's a great picture in this campaign. And that's the one where both models are holding hands and Lineisy is carrying a suitcase. It takes us back to the amazing airport created for the show.

Chanel & Fendi, Fendi & Chanel... tan parecidas pero tan diferentes. Ya sabéis que yo soy más de Fendi. Pero en cuanto a estas campañas, no tengo tan claro cual es mi favorita.

Me gusta más la colección de Fendi, pero me gusta más la localización usada en la campaña de Chanel. En cuanto al casting...bueno, Edie abrió ambos desfiles (Chanel y Fendi), así que era fácil deducir que alguna de las dos campañas se iba a llevar. Y me gusta para este tipo de campaña, ya que su look pega mucho con la ropa y el fondo. Sin embargo, Vanessa me sigue sin gustar nada.

Luego tenemos a Mica y a Lineisy. Después de ser exclusiva para Prada, todas las marcas querían a Lineisy en su desfile. Así que no sorprende ver que se haya llevado campañas del nivel de Givenchy y Chanel. Mica, sin embargo...no le pillo la gracia. Es terrible en pasarela, y tiene cero versatilidad en frente de la cámara. Es hasta molesto, de verdad.

Pero hay una gran foto en esta campaña que me gusta mucho. Me refiero a la que nos presenta a las modelos de la mano, con Lineisy llevando una maleta. Nos recuerda al increíble aeropuerto construido para el desfile.
