Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Loewe, Dior, Sacai & Diesel Black Gold

Julia Nobis, the icon. She's become a supermodel, and I love it. I feel like people either love or hate Julia, and that says a lot about how unique she is. She's some sort of blonde Freja, and... well, you can't please them all. But the truth is that Julia is a great professional, and most photographers and designers adore her. You can like her work or not, but her bookings are impressive. Meisel loves her, and that's why he shot her for the Prada and the Loewe campaigns. I already talked about Prada, but I thought I should mention it. But, Raf also loves her. She got the Dior campaign for the 3rd season in a row. Not bad. And she also got two more campaigns: Diesel Black Gold and Sacai. Queen of the season!!! Let's talk about these four campaigns ;) Julia Nobis, el icono. Se ha convertido en una supermodelo, y eso me encanta. Siento que la gente o la quiere o la odia, y eso dice mucho de lo única y especial que es. Es una especie de Fre...

Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2015: Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, George Barnett & George Le Page by Mario Testino This is decent. Still not great, but decent. No Cara, no Suki, ...that makes me happy. We got some black power instead, which is nice. It's always nice to see Naomi showing other Brits how it's done. Good stuff. Esto es decente. No es genial, pero es decente. Nada de Caras, nada de Sukis, ...eso me hace feliz. Tenemos poder negro, y eso está bien. Siempre me gusta ver a Naomi enseñando al resto de británicas como se hacen las cosas. Mola. Ralph Lauren Collection Spring/Summer 2015: Sanne Vloet by Bruce Weber Sanne opened the show, and got the campaign. I'm glad because her beauty is perfect for RL. I did an entire post about her, which you can check out here:  http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2014/12/meet-sanne-vloet-new-face-from.html But, let's talk about the campaign. I ADORE it. Bruce is the right ph...

Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Valentino

Dear people who read my blog, today it's my birthday. And I wanted to talk about something special today. That's why I'm reviewing Valentino's campaign. I guess everyone knows about my love for Valentino, but most people loved this ad. It's not just me this time ;) The collection was my favourite of the season, and the ad is my favourite as well. The funniest thing about it (which is quite depressing for me), it's that the photographer is younger than me. Michal Pudelka (Bratislava, 1990) shot this campaign, and that makes everything more fascinating. He's so young, but so talented. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I notice his work, and my first impression couldn't be better. One of my teachers used to say that: there's only one chance to make a good first impression. So far, so good. I can't wait to see more of his work. The best thing about the campaign is how simple it is. It may not look simple, but it's the simplest thin...
