SS 14 campaigns: Mulberry & La Perla

Is that time of the season again...Cara time!
I warn you because I know people either love her or hate her.
This season has been quite for her, but she still managed to get some campaigns. She also got YSL Beauty and DKNY, but there aren't proper pictures yet.



Es ese momento de la temporada de nuevo....¡Tiempo de hablar de Cara!
Os aviso porque se que la gente o la adora o la odia.
Esta temporada ha sido tranquilita para ella, pero aún así ha conseguido alguna campaña. También tiene YSL Beauty y DKNY, pero aún no hay fotos decentes.



Mulberry SS 14: Cara Delevingne by Tim Walker


Cara did last year's campaign and opened their last show. So, no surprise here.
No surprise, not good. Animals again: wow, how exciting!....No, not really. And it's really a shame because the collection is gorgeous. But this is way to plain, and Cara looks out of place. 






Cara ya hizo la última campaña y abrió el último desfile. Así que poca sopresa.
Poca sorpresa, y nada bueno. Animales otra vez: ¡Vaya, qué emocionante! ...No, la verdad es que no. Y es una verdadera pena porque la colección es preciosa. Pero es una campaña demasiado aburrida y Cara no pega en este concepto.



La Perla SS 14: Cara Delevingne, Liu Wen & Malgosia Bela by Mert & Marcus


Oh, dear! This has to be the worst lingerie campaign I have ever seen.
None of the models are lingerie models, therefore they look bad. 
It reminds me to Kendra Spears' campaign for Versace underwear, but there is a big difference between those campaigns....Kendra has a good body and can sell lingerie.






¡Ay señor! Esta tiene que ser la peor campaña de lencería que he visto.
Ninguna de las modelos valen para la lencería y salen mal.
Me recuerda a la campaña de Kendra Spears para la lencería de Versace, pero con una gran diferencia...Kendra tiene un buen y vale para vender lencería.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason.
