Her hair annoys me. She did a Miu Miu campaign with that hair, a French Vogue ed with that hair,...and now a Vogue cover with that hair. She's that bad at her work that you can only hire her for HF jobs styling her hair like that? It really annoys me.



Su pelo me molesta. Hace una campaña de Miu Miu con ese pelo, un edito de Vogue Francia con ese pelo,...y ahora una portada de Vogue con ese pelo. ¿Tan mala es que solo la cogen para trabajos de HF con la condición de que le pongan ese pelo? Me molesta.



Vogue Italia January 2014 : Julia Nobis by Steven Meisel





Poor Julia! She really deserved an italian Vogue cover, but did it have to look like an outtake from LV's campaign? Really Meisel? It's not fair for her. But I have to say at the same time that this shot is a hundred times better than any of the shots from the LV campaign. 
It's a nice cover, but she doesn't shine on the ed. Actually, Sasha Luss is the star of that ed. She looks amazing. Vanessa looks amazing as well. 



¡Pobre Julia! Se merecía una portada de Vogue Italia pero, ¿tenía que parecer un descarte de la campaña de LV? ¿En serio Meisel? Es injusto. Pero a la vez esta demostrando que esta foto es mucho mejor que las de la campaña de LV.
Es una buena portada pero ella no destaca nada en el edito. En realidad, es Sasha Luss la que parece la estrella del edito. Está increíble. Vanessa también. 



Vogue México January 2014 : Irina Shayk by David Roemer





Gorgeous! Irina is so underrated. I really like this cover. So simple, but nice. The ed was kind of underwhelming, though.



¡Preciosa! Irina está muy infravalorada. Me encanta la portada. Es simple pero bonito. Sin embargo, el edito es algo decepcionante.



Vogue Brazil January 2014 : Candice Swanepoel by Mariano Vivanco & Zee Nunes






Bad bad bad, very bad. I can't say anything positive about these two covers. The first one is so artificial. And the second one is the definition of tacky. No, it's not fierce or sexy, it's tacky. And the ed is even worse. Oh Candice, what am I going to do with you?



Mal mal mal, muy mal. No puedo decir nada positivo de estas dos portadas. La primera es tan artificial. Y la segunda es la definición de vulgar. No, no es "fierce" o sexy, es vulgar. Y el edito es aún peor. Ains, Candice, ¿qué voy a hacer contigo?

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. That's how I discovered this editorial, shot by Steven Meisel. Meisel

MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
